Hiro Japanese Hibachi Express, Winfield AL

I paid for steak and shrimp only got shrimp but the guy working at register said you could've eaten it already. Do not eat here unless you check your food. Cause they screwed me.

Food is not as good as it used to be. The chicken is not always thoroughly cooked. It is cooked properly 95% of the time but it only takes one time to never go back. Take out only.

Waited 52 minutes on my call in order for 2. Walk ups were getting there orders before me. They couldn't tell me why it took so long.

The food is really good but they recently reduced the portion size a lot and that does not work for how high the prices are.

2021: I have been a fan since I tried them in Fayette. The hibachi is incredible, at an incredible price! It’s nice to have a little variety in this small town.

6/2023: edited to add a picture of their yummy dynamite roll! I never would’ve imagined ordering something this well-presented in Winfield, AL! There’s no raw meat, so don’t be shy!

I have been pleasantly surprised by this little eatery. Just moved to the area and had a couple bad experiences with food joints. This has been great each time we order it. Just as good if not better than the sit in japanese steak houses.

I have ordered frequently over the last few months and the food is awesome but the employee's definitely have much room for improvement in friendly customer service!

My husband and I love this place. One order is so generous that we can split it between us.

Hit and miss. Sometimes great and sometimes not so much. Ordered the vegetables and rice and the veggies were 90% onions

Ordered the crab Rangoon and the Chicken Noodles. Chicken noodles Wonderful portion for two-three people.
