Mane Benefits is an amazing program here in the Shoals - allowing businesses in the area to gain membership while offering a discounts to students, faculty and staff! This is a Win-Win for our community! Student discounts and more foot traffic for our local Businesses!

This program is a game changer for the UNA community. It’s a double threat because not only is it amazing because it provides students discounts at over 65 locations around town which better connects the university with our growing community, but it also gives sales students the opportunity to get real sales experience under their belts by trying their hand at actually getting merchants to join the program.

When local hot spots sign up they aren’t just joining a spirited community of Lion’s fans to give discounts, they are supporting the students directly and allowing us to further our education in sales, they are allowing us to save some money so we can try out new hidden gems around town, they are supporting the UNA community that when I started didn’t seem as connected as it is now thanks to Mane Benefits.

Thank you to Dr. Butler for starting this program, thank you to the students for helping it grow, and thank you to each and every business owner who has taken the chance to give back to the students to better connect the community. Roar Lions!
