7I left a pair of boots there to be resoled in October 2023 and haven’t seen them since. I’ve called and left messages, but have heard nothing back as of the end of January 2024.
Old COVID policy. Can only call. Curb side drop off. Great if you live next door. Ridiculous if you come to Anchorage. Should change the name. A disgrace to the original 5th abe she repair. Shamd on you
Just a small job, but they worked it while I waited. Friendly and great service.
A zipper in my Coach crossbody wallet had "busted. " Long story short, Coach Repair/Customer Service staff in New Jersey was "unable to repair the zipper" (with no explanation offered yet I was informed I could purchase a new Coach wallet). Coach returned my wallet to me. Upon receipt of my wallet I called the Coach store in Anchorage, and I was directed to 5th Avenue Shoe Repair on Old Seward.
Stephanie and Karl of 5th Avenue Shoe Repair repaired the zipper in my little crossbody wallet, and it appears as if never broken and functions perfectly.
I am most pleased with the service provided by Stephanie and Karl, the courtesy and pleasant interaction with these folks.
I shall definitely keep 5th Avenue Shoe Repair in mind and gladly entrust this company with my leather products in need of repair.

Just moved here, I am a flight attendant and I needed my heel repaired. Called 5th Ave Shoe Repair the lady that answered my call was very nice and understood the urgency. As I work a flight tomorrow and she said no problem I brought my shoes in and they were repaired with in 15 minutes and even cleaned up all the scuff marks I did even ask. They looked brand new again. And for the extremely reasonable price and an emergency fix. They went above and beyond. I am so grateful. They were absolutely amazing. Thank you for helping me I will never go anywhere else
