Colony Suites, Palmer AK

I can not compliment the hosts enough. They went above and beyond for my husband and I to have a night for our anniversary. Communications were always professional and prompt. Those familiar with Palmer know it’s a small town, and relatively quiet. This rental is tucked into the middle of down town but manages to still feel privet. The suite was immaculately clean and cozy. I loved the colors muted tones paired with stainless BeAuTiFuL! The bed was comfy and having two tvs was a pleasant surprise. Another lovely surprise was the bathrooms heated floor. O my wintertime heaven! Definitely a top choose now for me!

The most top notch stay in the Valley! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting from out of town or a local staycation!

Beautiful rooms! Nicer than my own house. Very clean, very modern and comfortable, and had everything I needed. I would definitely stay here again. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

This place was great! Excellent suite, good location within walking distance of a few popular spots in downtown Palmer, and communicating with the managers was easy. Nice kitchen situation too.

I stay here a few times a year. Spotless rooms, every amenity I’d ever want, great price, and great location near all the shops and restaurants in downtown Palmer.

Place was an excellent place to stay. I'm a government employee that needed to stay in Plamer for a work event. I would recommend this place to anyone looking. Everything was new and clean and warm. All the suites had everything you would need: coffee, water, creamer, dishes, TV. The shower was fantastic. They are close to food and coffee and Fred Meyer.

Spotless. Spacious. Gorgeous. Great customer service. Easy location for all the great Palmer spots. Will absolutely stay there again.

Really loved my stay here, when I was visiting a local school.

The rooms were very clean, with so much stuff on offer and I think this was pretty much the best place I've stayed in Alaska or even the entire USA.

Definitely felt like a luxury apartment then a hotel! Just a shame that I could only stay for couple of hours, to really utilise the numerous amenities that were on offer

Would definitely be staying here again if I visit palmer/ anchorage again!

I cannot say how much I loved the Colony Suites enough! I travel a lot of business. Many times I am on the road for weeks at a time. It’s horrible being in a hotel and the Colony Suites is the exact opposite! First it is SO CLEAN. I need my environment to be clean and this place is so clean! It is beautifully decorated and it has ALL the amenities. It is so nice to have knives and a cookie sheet and these suites even have glass “Tupperware “ and ziplocks bags! The convenience of this place is out of this world!

The owner, Marty, is wonderful. Every morning he came out and shoveled my walk. He even shoveled me to my vehicle! He de-iced my car! Every day! This guy is a dream.

My first day I asked if there was a blender and within an hour he sent me a photo of a vitamix he placed in my cute suite! A vitamix. It’s a $900 blender. This guy goes above and beyond for his guests! I will NEVER stay anywhere else. This is my 2nd time at Colony suites and I will be back in 3 months and I am bringing my whole team.

Amazing suites! Clean, beautiful with all the touches of home. They provide you with everything you need. Washer & dryer, with laundry pods. Lunch/snack baggies. When you travel a lot colony suites is wonderful for your mental health! I love it!

My family and I spent the night in suite 6, we really loved how modern, clean and spacious the suite was. Thank you for having an awesome establishment! We will definitely stay here again if we have to.

This place is great! Stayed in unit #7…Basically a cute little fully furnished apartment. Owners respond quickly to any questions you might have. They even provide multiple contacts so that you are never left hanging!

Able to rate in the following areas:

Sleep: Great. Good comfortable bed, soft sheets and comfy pillows. Quiet room. Drapes able to block out light for good quality sleep. For you biometric tech nerds out there, my watch says that I slept 8 hours and 14 minutes of uninterrupted sleep with 94% sleep quality (amazing for me!)! If that isn’t pure bliss, I don’t know what is!

Kitchen: Cute and modern. Has basics for cooking anything and a full size fridge. Keurig coffee, sweetener/sugar packets and little creamers in the fridge- they thought of everything! If you need fancy creamer, Fred Meyer and Carr’s are not far away.

Living area: Comfy. Cute. Good size smart TV (you use your own streaming accounts, which is all I ever do, even at home)

Desk: little area where you could opt to set up for remote work.

Bathroom: modern shower, along with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Small, but for 2 people it’s perfectly fine.

Temperature/environment: Nest smart thermostat. Perfect temperature while we were here. Didn’t even need to adjust it.

Affordability: good value! We stayed here a little unexpectedly… we were able to book for same day room, reserved for 3 nights.

Location: great location within walking distance to some breweries (Matanuska and Bleeding Heart) and restaurants. The grocery store is a few more blocks away, not completely out of walking distance for most- but within a couple of minutes drive. (Personally, I don’t know who walks to get their groceries- I always come out of the store with far more than I could ever carry- but to each his own!)

10/10, would recommend staying here!

The rooms are very clean, offering a spacious and comfortable atmosphere. The beds, pillows, and bedding were surprisingly comfortable. The well-equipped kitchen and bathroom met all our needs. Ideal for families, the ample space accommodated us and our belongings, and my children enjoyed falling asleep on the living room pull-out couch while watching TV. The homely decor added a comforting touch. Exceptional communication from the owners, including an early room readiness notification, left a positive impression. Without a doubt, I would choose to stay again and have enthusiastically recommended it to friends and family.
