PCOS leaves me a lil' fuzzy faced and I usually shave every other day, before any strands have time to set up and get comfortable. A bout of illness that had me bed-bound left time for my follicles to flourish, so I used the opportunity to try sugaring. My skin is extremely sensitive, so waxing is a no-go; it always makes me break out. The last time I attempted to get my face sugared elsewhere, they used wax anyway so I was a bit apprehensive.

Ranjana (who was new at the time, so the service was 20% off) sugared my full face, and the results were FABULOUS! She even got my eyebrows right, which most people don't. What didn't come off with the sugar (which was not at all painful) came out with threading. It's been almost two weeks and I haven't had to shave at all, which is great for the convenience, for my skin, and for my confidence. No ingrown hair bumps, no breakouts. I don't live in the area so I can't set up regular appointments like I'd want to, but I definitely purchased a sugaring kit so that I can at least try my own upkeep. I've found a lot of sugaring spots in my hometown don't do faces, only other parts of the body. If I were local I would probably do the electrolysis package.

Anytime I am in the area and getting a bit fuzzy, Shobha will definitely be my first stop! The salon is very clean and well-appointed, and they sell all the products they use. They were very accommodating when I needed to move my appointment time and everyone I encountered, from the phones to in person, was friendly and welcoming.
