Canaan Nails & Spa, Brooklyn CT

I have never been to this nail salon before today, but since my usual place was closed early today and I was desperate to get my nails done, my manager at work recommended Canaan nails so I decided to try it out! I was so pleased with the service, I showed them a picture and got exactly what I wanted. The environment was quiet and peaceful and clean. They even gave me a mini massage at the end of my nail appointment, for a refill on my acrylics with St. Patty’s day nail art, it was only $46 plus tip. At my other place it would’ve been $60 plus tip. Thank you Canaan nails for making my day:) I like them so much I’m going to schedule 2 pedicure appointments with my friends and have them be my regular nail artists, you have just gained a new regular?

I cannot recommend this place enough! The staff here are so accommodating and welcoming. I had my nails done by Kelly and Owen, and they did an amazing job - best (and one of the cheapest!) manis I’ve had in my life. The owner, Annie, was also super nice and friendly. No complaints at all - 11/10 experience!

While the service was great, and they were very personal, (I also heavily appreciated the shoulder massage while my nails were drying) the quality of the full set I received was just under par. My nails look a week grown out and I just got them done earlier today. The shaping is wrong on multiple nails, as well, one hand is shorter than the other. The shaping on the sides of my nails were also done poorly. I would have happily paid 35 for this set but paying 64 was a stretch. I’ve paid less for more in Boston.

Great salon! They do a super job with pedicures. Enjoy having girl time there. People are very friendly and atmosphere is comfortable.

I have been going to Canaan for years now and everything time I am still just has happy when I leave! Today I had Helen and it was one of the best experiences. This place provides the best pedicures and I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else! Annie and everyone is always so welcoming and friendly!

Canaan Nails is simply the best. Annie and her team are so friendly and helpful, and their massages are amazing. It's also a larger nail salon, which I like. Some salons feel like everyone's on top of each other. I can't say enough good things.

The best service & quality work you could ever imagine to find in a nail salon. They really go out of the way to pamper you!

Had my natural nails destroyed twice and no apology. The woman tried to blame me for her use of a coarse file that should only be used for fake nails. Owner is the only competent nail tech in the place. Even she refuses to accept accountability for her staff mistakes.

Overpriced. Paid nearly $100 for a mani pedi. And a staff member actually YELLED at me for walking on the floor without my shoes… after she took those disposable flip flop things off. (What was I supposed to do? Levitate?) Customer service tip: don’t humiliate your customers.

Fantastic pedicures and manicures. The best for gel fill and gel color. Live the cats eye and mermaid choices. My favorite nail salon.

Jason has done my pedicure twice and exactly what I needed each time! Very thorough and excellent leg and neck massage! Relaxing to say the least!

They are fantastic, they tell you when the price is gonna be different if you choose something that wasn't included in the original service. Area is very spacious. Call for appointment. They aren't really doing walks in, but if you call there is a lot of times they can get you in right away, especially early in the morning.
