Mystic River Cruises, Stonington CT

The sunset cruise absolutely made our trip. We never felt rushed and enjoyed the views and stories from ever spot along the ride. Captain Erick takes a lot of pride in what he does which makes the experience amazing. Definitely a must do when coming to visit Mystic!

Captain Eric is a perfect host and guide. First cruise of the day, very peaceful and serene for our twentieth anniversary. The scenic route is as informative as the historic route. Securing reservations and getting answers and directions could not have been easier.
We were most grateful for the privacy option on this cruise. Thank you, Captain Eric, for a most memorable anniversary celebration.

Had an amazing time on this private cruise. Captain Erick was professional and confirmed the morning of via text that we would still be cruising. Parking and finding the boat was very easy. Parked in the Red 36 parking lot and followed the Mystic River Cruises signs. We arrived early and it wasn’t long before we were on the water. Saw many great homes and Captain Erick gave us some history of the homes and area along the way. Was very relaxing and peaceful. We brought a cooler with some drinks and some crackers for snacks. It was a great 90 min ride and I am sure glad we went. The wooden boat was beautiful and well kept. Thank you again Captain Erick!

Captain Erick was awesome! The sunset cruise was amazing. He was super knowledgeable on the history of Mystic, Rhode Island, New York and Fishers Island. He made the cruise fun and was very engaging. Super easy to talk to. If you ever want to do a cruise in Mystic, Captain Erick is the only captain you need. We look forward to doing another cruise with him in the future!

Captain Erick was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable. We had a very enjoyable experience. The wooden boat was kept in great shape. It was a beautiful boat. I would highly recommend him.

My now fiancé and Captain Erick worked behind the scenes to complete a fairytale proposal for me. The cruise and his knowledge was by itself absolutely amazing. But Captain Erick really makes the cruise an amazing time. We both can’t say enough about the cruise or Captain Erick. His extreme kindness and going above and beyond to make this special for us is something we could never thank him enough for.

It was our absolute pleasure to take a cruise on Mystic River Cruises this October and it was, without a doubt, one of the highlights of our 2 week vacation. The boat was beautiful, the views, breathtaking, and Captain Erick was awesome! He’s extremely knowledgeable about the area and he truly loves what he does, which is so uplifting!

This is a fantastic way to celebrate a special occasion and an equally fantastic way to transform an otherwise average day into a special occasion. Save a seat for us, Captain Erick, we will absolutely be back!

This trip with Capt. Erick was wonderful! You have the boat to yourself vs some other boats that are very crowded during this still questionable COVID times. Capt. Erick is very informative on all the various viewings along the Mystic River. Going out into Long Island Sound proved to be relaxing and educational. You can bring up to 6 people or make it a couples getaway for 2 hours. A nice bottle of wine and some snacks or just enjoy the views! Would do it again for sure!

Captain Eric, is a great host to his guest. He is very informative with the entire area stretching out as far NY & RI. I enjoyed the tour it was so relaxing & the sun was just right. The Captain was very knowledgeable about the Mystic area. It made for an enjoyable cruise up the Mystic river and back. He pointed out famous ships, houses, landmarks and I highly recommend this wonderful boat ride.

Captain Eric is an incredible guide. This is our 2nd year taking the sunset cruise and never disappoints. The classic boat is like none other in the area. We had the whole boat to ourselves as is usual practice. This is a very personalized tour of the Mystic area you will bot get anywhere else. Do not hesitate to schedule your cruise early in the season. I called in early June and Captain Eric was already well into filling his calendar.

Captain Eric was the best. He was very accomodating to me and my dog. We had an amazing time and it was by far the best thing I did in Mystic. I have been to Mystic a number of times but this for me was the most memorable. I highly recommend!

We were a group of first time Mystic visitors and came across Mystic River Cruises on a quick Google search of what to do in the area. Captain Erick exceeded our expectations! He took extremely good care of our group, was friendly and personable, and struck the perfect balance of commentary/tour guiding, as well as giving us our privacy to chit chat. I have already recommended Mystic River Cruises to folks in my network, and I can't wait to return again - very intrigued by the fall foliage cruises! Had a wonderful cruise with Captain Eric. He’s very knowledgeable of local history and current events. Highly recommend the cruise on his 1947 wooden boat. Nicely restored and quite comfortable. Nice value.

Loved this boat ride these guys were awesome made the journey very fun for all ages highly recommend this boat ride.little pricey but I see why.after you get out in the open it's really nice.plus these guy are running all around working hard.bottom line just a really neat and fun experience.

Captain Erik was absolutely amazing. He had every detail covered, extras of this, extras of that. So knowledgeable and personable the entire trip. You will not find a better private sunset cruise than Mystic River Cruise. This was our very first cruise with Captain Erik and we wouldn't want anyone else. He even gets the best photos! The boat was beautiful, clean, spacious for 8+ people and comfortable for all. Dont waste your time with any other sunset cruise, they don't compare. Thank you captain Erik.

This was one of the best cruises I have ever been on. Captain Eric was absolutely the best, not only was he super friendly he was also super knowledgeable of the area. I can not wait to book again!
