Shepherd's Office, Georgetown DE

This place severely helped me when I was homeless. However, every house like this has its ups and downs there were times where I did feel welcomed and all those times were amazing. They helped me severely and God thank you for them. But in other times certain people when giving out food, we’re extremely horrible people. It wasn’t everybody. However, two people stuck out I won’t put their names out. Just because I don’t want the Internet to attack them. But yes, for the most part this place really helped me. I have to say if you’re homeless. Go here and check out higher ground in Georgetown as well.

My husband and I, have met Jim today, and he has changed our lives. My husband has been through many trials and tribulations to the point where he has not wanted to be here anymore. Anywhere we have went, there was no hope or acceptance but today, Jim changed that. Not only did he give us hope, but gave us everything we needed. We could have not asked for a better person to step into our lives. Thank you for everything you continue to do for people. You are God's gift!

I know God is Great an God is good also Mr Jim at the shepherds office is one Amazing man he has helped my little family out so much all Great Folks at the shepherds office we went from staying in a motel payed form a state voucher to having our own Residence all because Jim saw the light in our Family Thank you so very much Mr. Martin your truly a blessing and it’s such a wonderful gift having run into you Sir Thank you again to the Great People at the Shepherds office

Jim Martin and the Shepherd's Office team are outstanding. They continue to make a huge impact in the community. We donated today and everyone was very helpful and nice. Please consider donating to this organization first before you go to the goodwill! They have multiple needs for a lot of people but if you have sleeping bags, tents, blankets, or any other clothing and canned goods, they will happily accept it! Thanks for all that you do, Jim.

My wife and I have volunteered at the Shepherd’s Office quite a few times and they do an amazing job not only feeding the homeless population but also hosting Bible Studies and performing lots of advocacy for those who need it. If we could give them more than 5 stars we would!

Today was my first experience at the Shepherd’s Office but it definitely will not be the last. Jim and his team are warm and welcoming and provide a wealth of resources to those in need. It was truly humbling to see so many people coming together to make meals, drop off food and clothing, and provide (much needed) assistance to help others in our community. Kudos to Jim and his team for their ongoing dedication and service to others; they are doing amazing work!

Finally went to Shepherds House to drop off some clothing for the homeless. Was blessed to meet Jim Martin and his super volunteer staff. They are doing an amazing job caring for the homeless and needy children in our area. Consider donating to their cause! By the way, they offer Catholic mass for all!
