JJ fish and chicken, Chicago IL

I was little disappointed that the staff got my order wrong. But the young lady that wasn't supposed to be there working fixed the issue.

The young female cashier was great in helping me choose a combo fish dinner that saved me money. Her customer service was beyond exceptional. The fish was good & hot.

I frequent this place a lot. I would give between a 3/4 star. Most times their food is delish especially through Uber eats. However there are sometimes when I had to call back but when I did the management did well with customer service.

Their chicken is usually really good and fresh. I used to order from them frequently when I ate fried food often.

Dont know what happened but food and service now horrible. Wouldnt refund, Michelle the cashier and "cook" of all people saying no manager until 9pm. This order was at 2.30 pm 6.19.22.

The last couple times that I've ordered, I've had to complain and get a refund for something. This last time the onion rings were burnt and the perch was the size of a french fry. I didn't want anything from there but the family did. They can eat from there again but I won't.

Just called to order and the lady who picked up the phone was so rude I almost went up there to tell her about her self.

Ordered the shrimp dinner and told the cook to cook it soft for my elderly mother and what he do cook it extra crispy, I ordered a fruit punch and instead of saying they ran out they put a Dr. Pepper in my bag! Then the order is supposed to come with coleslaw and they did not put that in the bag either. I called them to dispute the order and the lady told me I just started my shift and I can either bring it back or dispute it. Mind you I ordered the food for my mother and we don’t live together so how can I return it. NEVER AGAIN!

Let me start with the positives. I called my order in and the person I spoke with was very friendly. When I arrived my food was just about ready, not to their blame I was closer than I thought. The wings weren't scrawny pieces either. I could tell by the taste that the oil wasn't too old. From what I could see the establishment was clean inside and out. I liked that I was able to pay with my card.
The negative, which is only one thing. It has to do with the taste of the food. The chicken needs to be marinated before cooking it. I asked for lemon pepper on top of everything and the food was bland. For the price I paid, it could've been better. I will be back. I support neighborhood businesses.

Their catfish nuggets are on POINT and they give you wayyyyy more than sharks at a better price

Idon’t know if it is a reoccurring joke but every time I order a six piece chicken wing they always give me a splash of mild sauce in a container I SWEAR

The cashier is very Angry and not polite at all. But one thing I liked about her, she used hand sanitizer. Great for that.

This place is amazing. There isn't anything that isn't good on the menu. Fair prices large portions and always get extra lemon pepper on everything you won't regret it. That pizza puff hits good! Catfish fillets fried perfect!

Great food and excellent fast service. Cheerful helpful staff. Food was fresh and hot. Thumbs up.

Prices are steep two fish and 10 small shrimp like 20 bucks wasn't worth it to me the chicken might be a better selection
