Park Tavern, Chicago IL

I was there on Aug 12th and a new waitress was on her 1st day. She was very rude to our party. Plus she took her own tip out of my money. Other than that the food is excellent.

Good food. Cocktails were okay (mixed a little too strong so they were hard to drink). Not great service. Cleanliness could be improved.

THE OWNER IS THE BOMB. ️ THIS PLACE. THIS WAS MY SECOND TIME BACK 2 BOOK A PARTY. I STRONGLY RECCOMMEND THIS PLACE. YOU CAN KICK IT INSIDE OR OUT.

We had a good time here before a concert at the United Center. Remember Park Tavern is only open when there is an event at the United Center.

They have a wide selection of craft beer and great happy hour deals.

The food was tasty. We got the shrimp appetizer and the fish and chips. Both were large portions and decently priced for downtown Chicago.

From there it was a 5 minute walk to the Center. Nice place to start for sure.

I don't drink but people with me said the beer/ ale selection was good. I liked the kalamari and fish and chips. Other positives around hamburger and macaroni. Service was really good

Food delightful! Service was horrible, I asked the waiter (Cesar) if they were overwhelmed and he down played the amount of people. He did not stop by the table to check on us. Then actually caught an attitude when I told him we needed him and that he disappeared. He dismissed that by saying I'm going to go get my manager not being bothered with us. The manager was slightly a "saving grace" but I doubt the server will take accountability.

Off the chain. Had a taste for some Buffalo wings and the came thru. And my raspberry cosmo was a hit. I love when I go to a place and I can check off all the boxes. They were friendly and fast. Overall Great experience.

Food and drinks great place. The way it should be when you are out for a quick grab of food and a drink very open and laid back cozy before game time.

Went here prior to hawks game. Really nice bar and atmosphere. Staff was very nice and sat us right away. Pizza was disappointing but appetizers were good. Decent cocktails and beer selection although the bartender seemed overwhelmed with crowd.

Simple menu, prices are what you would expect for Chicago. Nice location and great service. Great selection of beers and delicious food. A bit under staffed, not complaining the two of them did an awesome job. Just kitchen closes at an odd time (7PM).

The night of the The Culture Tour was a fun night! This location is in walking distance of the United Center and a great place to “pre-game/pre-event”. Good food. Good drink. Good music.

Drinks are too high. They charged me not only for the drink but for mixing the drink. You ever heard of getting charged for mixing a drink.

I like going here before the United center. Food and drinks are good. Atmosphere is nice. The teamsters parking garage is useful. Don’t forget to get your validated ticket.

Great place! Amazing apps and friendly staff. Perfect spot for a pregame beverage and food before a Bulls or Blackhawks game!

Came for food and drinks before an event at the United Center since it’s walking distance. They have an ok selection of beers but that’s about the only positive thing. We ordered a small pizza and nachos to eat. They obviously came frozen and they tasted the same if not worse than elementary school lunches. The nachos used American cheese and it was disgusting, the avocado on it was sad, and the chips were super soft and wouldn’t hold up the food. I’m pretty sure the tomatoes used were canned tomatoes too. Then the pizza tasted like cafeteria pizza from public schools. The cheese, sauce, and the crust tasted so disappointingly. I’m pretty sure the employees know how bad the food is because the server didn’t even ask “how’s your food? ” or the usual “is everything ok? ”. I was also close enough to see their spirit selection at the bar and again they have poor quality alcohol. If you come I would just stick to beer. If you’re into sours, ciders, or fun beers I would stay away as they wouldn’t have anything for you to drink besides water.

Park Tavern is located near the United Center; right now it is only open when there is an event at the United Center. They still run a shuttle for guests to and from the UC. Be careful, however, because the shuttle driver does not pick you up exactly where he says he will pick you up. He'll park it half a block away and when you start to head over to get on the shuttle he drives away.

The food is (and always has been) very good. When we last visited before a Blackhawks game on Sunday February 20th, the place was crowded. We ordered the firecracker shrimp as an appetizer - it was great. For our entree, we both ordered fish and chips. The fish was delicious. The fries were barely warm I asked the manager if he could bring us some warm fries and he brought them out right away but they were only slightly warmer. Oh well.

The staff here is fantastic. They're always friendly even though the are very busy; they do a great job given that they are only open limited hours and days right now. That's why we gave them a break with respect to the not so warm French fries.

We recommend Park Tavern.

Great spot for anything happening at the United Center. Good food and fast friendly service plus they shuttle you to and from United Center.and you can park your car in garage across street for a mere $6. Highly recommend this place

Arrived just on time for our reservation. Great vibes and good food. Server wasn’t very responsive but seemed like she had a bunch of tables. They also clean the dishes from the table super quick…almost too quick sometimes. Shuttle will take you to the game after you eat and bring you back.
