Cafe Rise Up reviews
11I stopped in for a second time here. I do want to like this place, the service was great and they were very nice.but the ordering and menu is so not clear. I was lost. I have no idea what they have and their menu is unreadable and not clear. I ended up getting what I thought was post workout shake, but to me was a glorified milkshake with tons of sugar, I ended up tossing it. I do urge the owners to consider this feedback and rethink the menu into a faster and more clear experience.
A unique place with protein smoothies and coffee. If you're looking for a healthy drink, this is the place to go!
Great drinks. We love all the variety they offer, and how healthy they are… the owner is extremely nice and we enjoyed our drinks there.
The person working was very friendly and helpful since I’d never been before! I think the menu/ordering system could be a bit more clear, but I got the green goddess protein smoothie for lunch and I really liked it. Great place if you’re looking for a quick protein smoothie!
I stopped in randomly to grab a Herbalife shake and was pleasantly surprised. Pablo was very nice and prompt. I will definitely be coming back!
PYRAMID SCHEME: Went in to get a smoothie for lunch. It was only after I ordered that I saw all the ingredients were Herbalife, never would have gone in had I known that. Herbalife is a pyramid scheme and has a deeply questionable track record with the FDA.
Don't even waste your time or money trying this place. It is absolute trash, we went here after a long midday walk with our dog and their shakes were awful. The herbalife reviews are probably true. All our drinks were so grainy, with a cake like texture.
If you want a smoothie with actual ingredients, go to Yummy Yummy! A block south. They use actual fruit and not faux dehydrated powders.
I went for the first time and the woman working made me the best shake of my life. The Oreo shake is amazing and amazing service, worth the money!
If I don’t get my B12 booster and pre-workout before my bike rides, I get cramps and collapse like a triple vaxxed pro footballer with myocarditis.
Straight up, this place is NOT good. I ordered a fruity smoothie and a matcha drink. The matcha drink was bland and tasted like chalk, with no semblance of actual matcha in it. The smoothie lacked any actual fruit.
I'm nearly positive this place is in some way related to a multi-level marketing scheme like Herbalife. There's no evidence of any actual, fresh fruits or vegetables in the entire store. Both drinks tasted bland and artificial.
The general vibe of the store is. Harsh artificial lighting made for an environment we wanted to get out of sooner rather than later.
Would absolutely not recommend.
Was really excited to try this place, walked about 20 minutes to get a shake after the gym at about noon on a Monday (when it says they’re open both online and on the door) … nobody was there, lights were off, and the door was locked. Only reason I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because I’m hoping this is a one off…
