9I am certainly a Scooters fanatic, and this is my usual location. Depending on the day, the drinks and food are well-prepared and staff is polite. On occasion drinks are made wrong, the food is cold, and the staff are too preoccupied talking to do anything other than hand you your order. Overall, I would definitely visit, but just be prepared for a hit-or-miss (usually hit!) experience.
They are friendly and when they get to know you they are very good at making you feel like you are important!
Had ordered a iced matcha with cold foam and for some reason when I had arrived to the speaker, the girl sounded upset and rushed me to order and it was only 6: 50pm and they were going to close at 8pm. She didn’t mix my drink well, I had a chunk of idk what kind of powder whether it was sugar or the matcha but it was unpleasant just knowing that she could’ve mixed it better. I usually love coming to scooters and I usually go during breakfast time but I had just stopped going after this incident.
I enjoy the coffee as does my fiancé but there’s 1 person that could be a lot nicer when we go through. She’s fairly rude whenever my fiancé orders.
One of the worst ones I've been to in the country misunderstanding caused me to be given the wrong thing and way over charged will definitely not go back
I didn't go into this place, i ordered through the drive thru. They have the friendliest drive through employees.
I normally like going to Scooters back home because they serve their customers well. However this scooters in Storm Lake didn't want to make the drink I ordered because they already had cleaned the machine to make the one I ordered. I arrived at 750pm so they were still opened but they started cleaning early and I had to settle for a drink I've never ordered before. It had ten minutes left before closing.
The service was absolutely wonderful, but I ordered a chai latte and it tasted very strange, too sweet and just had a weird after taste. My husband really enjoyed his coffee though, he got a cookie butter latte and said it wasn't overly sweet. I will definitely try again in the future and update my review.
