Splash Car Wash, Ankeny IA

One of my favorite carwashes in the country. Affordable. Good water pressure. The tire wash is actually tire wash, not just low pressure soap, air shammy actually blows air, etc. I'm no longer from the area but will routinely stop by in my way up or down 35 for this car wash.

Was so surprised to see this car wash has all the washing selections I wanted in addition to a drier! My truck looked better after using this wash than when I go to my regular car wash (is a drive-through). I had to do the work myself, but it was so worth it!

First time at the car wash and everything was in good working condition. There is a button on the outside when you pull up to open the door and another inside so you could close it in the winter. It cost me $8.50 for a little over 10 minutes and paid by card. There were a lot of options available I only used rinse, foam brush and spot free rinse. I have a wrap on the truck so it's nice to have an option for a manual wash but they do have an auto option as well, it might be touchless but i dont know. I will be back here.

A very well managed carwash.always clean and equipment works well.the manager has a very good customer focus.

Cleaned my car well to include bugs on windshield that never came off easily with washing at the gas stations.

Moved to the area about 5 years ago. Have only used this car wash for all my vehicles. Recently the vacuums haven't been in good order. No suction and the "attachment" part of it has fallen off the hose the last 3 times I've tried to vacuum. Hope they fix it soon or I'll have to find a new car wash.

I used the car wash on 3/14/2023, used my credit card and when I went to stop the wash, the button wouldn't work to stop charging the credit card. I immediately called to inform them of this issue. I have since called 3 more times, leaving a message twice to inform them that I should have been charged $6.50 and not $15. Thankfully the charging stopped at $15. Had I known I would be charged $15, I would have gone somewhere else and got extras. Each time I called, I asked for the charge to be rectified and to be called back to confirm that this has been completed. The last call today the voicemail box was full. I've also tried to stop by the office, yet nobody was there.

I really hope they make this right, because the car wash works well, I just in good faith can't use or recommend a business like this.

This is a good choice for either automated or do it yourself car washing.
I would, however, recommend not using your debit card inside the bay as my total showed $7, but my card was charged $15.
Aside from that, this car wash is a solid choice for Ankeny residents.

The automatic wash doesn’t even begin to touch the lower drivers side of a pick up. The spot free rinse definitely does not rinse very well at all. Wouldn’t waste the money again

I go here almost weekly. The car wash itself is very efficient and cleans my car effectively. The prices are fair and as far as I know it's the only car wash with a ceramic option which makes a big difference in shine and water beading.

$10 for a simple car wash lasting two minutes with no dryer. Poorly marked units so you don’t know what you’re getting into. I’ll never go back.

Does a nice job overall in the touchless bays. If you have any "caked" mud/snow/ice, best to use the manual pressure wash bays. I've been here numerous times, and nothing will beat a manual wash. Had some leftover "crud" on my truck after going through a touchless today at thr bottom front side of my splash guards, rear wheels (1/1/23), but this time of year I'm just trying to keep up with keeping salt and chemicals off, not necessarily perfection, so I'm not upset about it.

The $10 wash is not worth even half that. Very disappointed. Car dirty when done and no dryer.
