I recently had the pleasure of attending The Whiskey Fest event at The River Center in Des Moines, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. The venue itself is stunning, with its modern architecture and elegant interiors that create a welcoming and sophisticated atmosphere. The location, right in the heart of Des Moines, is not only convenient but also adds to the charm of the venue with its beautiful riverfront views.

The staff at The River Center were exceptional. From the planning stages to the execution of the event, they were professional, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. Their attention to detail and dedication to service greatly contributed to the success of our event.

The space itself was versatile and well-equipped, perfectly accommodating our needs whether it was for the main event, breakout sessions, or dining. The audio-visual equipment was state-of-the-art, ensuring a seamless experience. Additionally, the catering service was superb, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from.

We had our wedding reception at the River Center this fall at their South venue. The venue is beautiful and it was the perfect space for our wedding reception. We worked with Paige and she was excellent, going above and beyond to help make it the best day. The venue is beautiful, they have in house catering, supply all place settings and linens, and have bar service in house. Can't recommend River Center enough and had the most perfect wedding celebration there!

Attended a political evert where Governor Reynolds (IA) announced her support for Governor DeSantis’ (FL) run for President. The River Center was a beautiful host for such a spectacular evening.

The River Center was the perfect location for our wedding reception! We rented both sides on a Friday in October 2022. We had cocktail hour and dancing on the south side and dinner on the north side. The feel was so warm and romantic, and we had plenty of room for all of our guests. The food was also excellent, which is served in house. We highly recommend The River Center!

As a wedding photographer, I always love getting to work at the River Center. It's gorgeous and I've always had lovely interactions with the staff during events! Would super recommend for anyone looking to get married in downtown DSM.

My husband and I got married at the River Center (North side, with staircase) Dec 2022, and we loved it! We had about 115 guests and the size was perfect; the downstairs for ceremony and reception and the mezzanine for cocktail hour while the venue staff flipped the downstairs from seating to tables. The food, dessert, and our signature drinks from their in-house catering and bar were all delicious, and we got to do a tasting prior to deciding on a menu. From what we saw researching other venues, it's pretty reasonably priced.

I attended my niece’s wedding on 11/12/2022. The venue was beautiful, the staff was friendly and helpful to everyone. We had a lovely time. Highly recommend this venue if you live in the area.
