I contracted with Platinum Outdoor Concepts to have all new front-of-house landscaping done, including a new block retaining wall hardscape, edging, plantings, mulch, and other visual aspects. Dave was very responsive in evaluating my project, providing a conceptual design, and beginning the work. His crew performed the work very professionally and they took care of finer details without cutting corners and completed the work in 6 working days (within plan). They were open to feedback and questions as the project progressed and I'd be happy to recommend them to others looking to do residential hardscaping and landscaping.

The company I work for, provides services for individuals with intellectual /developmental delays. We are doing some renovations and needed an old fence taken down and a new fence put in, in a timely manner. I got ahold of Dave after seeing a few posts on Facebook, regarding some work that Platinum Outdoor Concepts had completed. Dave came out to the facility and was very knowledgeable and honest. Dave explained that not all of the fence posts needed replacing and some were still in good condition, which saved the company money. Dave came back with a very competitive bid and had a crew start on the fence, a few days later. The job was completed, in a timely manner, well organized pertaining to communication and logistics, with efficiency, and the end product surpassed expectations. I saw another review stating, ". You couldn't even tell they were there! " This is spot on but if you needed to get ahold of Dave, he responded immediately. The crew was professional, hardworking and easy to talk to.

Moving back to KS from West coast was stressful in itself, but seeing no deck lights, step lights or even back yard lights to see our pup, in new rental, added to it. I have known the owner Dave since high school. He's always been good to me. In fact a few years back I was going through some personal issues and needed a job. He hired me during that phone call. He didn't express any judgement of me. I know that while working for him the quality of our work was second to none. I can't speak to that now, but I assume it's still very top notch! The lawn/landscape industry as a whole has had numerous issues. I can't speak for others, but my personal experience with him as a business owner has always been positive.

Dave did a great job communicating the steps to our project. He gave us a fair price and got the job done timely.

Dave and his team were fantastic! Dave came out to give me a quote on a drainage solution for my backyard and came in at a very reasonable price for the amount of work that needed to be done. His team was also able to come out the next day to perform the work. Once they showed up, his crew was very knowledgeable, professional, and worked hard. They were pretty close to finishing the job on day one with just some cleanup left to do, so they came back the next day and carted away the extra dirt leftover from the drainage installation. Great experience, would use their services again in a heartbeat!

Dave wanted me to do his work for him taking pictures and sending them to him etc. He canceled his appointment with me 1 hour before he was due to show up.
Very poor service don't bother calling him.

Dave and the Platinum crew knew I had a time crunch with the update I need to my backyard. They were able to assist me within my needed time period and put in a patio. They were thorough and did a great job. If I have a need for more updates I will definitely used them again.

Dave woodring the president is very un professional in the way he treats people around him. I would highly recommend finding another company to do buisness with. There is lots of good companies in the greater Kansas City area that know how to do good buisness. This is not one of them.

We ordered firewood and it's amazing. Was very responsive and delivered promptly. Burns really good.
