Sports Pavilion Lawrence reviews
13Wonderful facility and free to county residents. Has weight room (small but adequate) pickleball, basketball courts and indoor soccer field where I prefer to run for lower impact.
Very nice facility! Parking can be a bigproblem if there are other events going on in the surrounding complex.
Out door trails, tons of tennis courts, volleyball and basketball courts inside. Free entry to all Lawrence residents. Decent gym with an indoor 1/8 mile track. Location is less than desirable, but overall the facility is great.
Since the Aquatic Center is closed for cleaning we are walking the track at Rock Chalk park for a way to exercise when it is hot or raining. I love this facility and will be checking out what else is available here.
I was disappointed and sad. I called the place early in the afternoon to make sure that nothing was reserved so i can come to play, so i invited friends to come play 4: 30, because i was informed that no reservation was made. At 4: 30 we all showed up and stared playing, 30 minutes later they come and tell us the Field is reserved and we need to leave. Because Ku club team wants to use it. They need to get there priority right. Why did they reserve it 1 hour before when clearly they have told me before you need to call 24 hours prior to do so. So stop making me feel like a second class citizen. They Wasted our time and hour kids.
Amazing and clean, free Wi-Fi with a grab-and-go hot/cold concessions. Supports a multitude of sports: basketball, volleyball, soccer, gymnastics, rock climbing, tennis. Fitness center with indoor track. Hiking trails surround the complex.
Love this place for the Cleanliness and abundance of equipment. 3 stars because the mask requirement isn't enforced. My friend and I were in the minority wearing our masks. Very disappointing.
This location is currently closed for free use but available for those paying for a class or service. I am taking the weight class and thoroughly enjoy it. The Sports Pavilion is always very clean and even with covid, I feel safe attending classes
Nice facility. There were over 12 volleyball courts. Concessions were good but pricey.
Unfortunately, masks are required inside. A plus was no one enforced the mask rule. Even staff weren't wearing masks.
Very clean and nice facility. Walking track is 1/8 mile around and several pieces of workout equipment to facilitate all levels of activity.
We do appreciate and enjoy this Sports Pavilion. The indoor track is great for cold, snowy or rainy weather. The workout area is excellent for a variety of activities using free weights, exercise apparatus and stretching. A variety of classes suited for all ages are available. The facility is ALWAYS clean clean clean (did I mention CLEAN!) and the staff are courteous and professional. What a wonderful asset for community members from young to not-so!
Landon is so Awesome and Helpful. Great Attitude. The track and work out is finally open. Im so excited
Love this place. You can come and play tennis for free. Tennis courts are Open to public. Covid friendly sport
