My husband went to work here a few months ago and now I am getting a divorce because of the nasty kitchen worker Candace Page. She has been asking my husband for money and rides to work and my husband breaks boundaries with most of the females there so does the actual manager. This place is a joke

Not recommended. I was discharged from this location recently. The diet the feed you is made up of the cheapest calories money can buy. It's mostly noodles, and bread, and very little protein. Not a fresh vegetable in site. The only vegetables you get are canned, and cooked to mush. In the time I was there I never met with my counselor one on one despite Kentucky regulations clearly stating you are supposed to meet with your counselor one on one for one hour a week minimum. I met with a counselor once for a brief 10 minute generic assessment. You are in group for 7 hours a day, six days a week, and about 5 hours on Sunday. The groups are mainly PowerPoints, and YouTube videos. They are so monotonous, and repetitive that they all blur together, and it is very hard to retain anything they are attempting to teach you. They extremely short staffed, and have no dedicated kitchen crew. Anyone who was working in the kitchen while I was there were other staff members like R. A's (resident assistant) meds techs peer counselor, or basically anyone who could warm up pre-made, and precooked food.

Do not go here if you’re needing to detox from benzodiazepines. I was told they had a medical detox. They no longer have one.

I've been to recovery works twice once for detox in 2018 and then 60 days in 2021. I hear a lot of people complain but honestly it's what you make it in my opinion. I went to all the meetings even on my bad days. The staff was very caring, yes there is people who don't take it seriously and that is why I didn't go buddy up with them. Do I think there's stuff to improve on yes, but that's anywhere. This place saved my life and many others as well! Brittany, Shawn, Cindy, Byron & the nurses and councilors were all amazing. I had a really bad infection in my hand w I got there and they made sure to take care of it and me. I made life long friends as well I will never forget what this place did for me. Thank You recovery works!

After the death of my mother I found myself drinking too much I request to be detoxed. I was lied to from the start. I accepted these and admitted myself. The place is dirty no sanitizers no soap in bathrooms bed bugs. Very little food. And the worsted was NO MASK WEARING. NO DISTANCING! It's like there was no Pandemic going on period. I was give a bed with dirty sheets. Come to find out the place has turn into a complete Medicaid scam. They charge the Gov $1400 a day for detox. It's unbelievable. Regardless I stayed sober. Stay away from this place it's horrible! You've been warned! Over 3 years later and I still have nightmares about this place.
