Heights at Hammond Apartments

I currently live here. They are very unprofessional and money hungry when it is in their favor they will contact you about fees or money. When you have a problem or try to contact them you will not get a response unless it is a let on your door 0/10 recommend.

The heights in Hammond was a great experience. I appreciate the entire team for answering all my questions and being so kind. Every time I spoke with someone they always made me feel right at home.

Not a luxury apartment, far from it actually. Maintenance always checked off work orders completed even though no one ever came to fix the issues. Appliances were breaking down constantly!

I cannot recommend against this apartment complex enough. They are sending all previous tenants to a Debt Collector.

The old management was awesome, however they were bought out and most of the staff left and/or was let go. New staff just "follows corporate rules". They increased rent drastically over 2-3 years, removed a LOT of resident benefits, and are not the best to work with. I never had any payment problems, I paid in full 1-2 days before rent was due and barely ever had maintenance issues that required a maintenance call.

All of that said, without sending me physical mail, email, text, or call, they sent a charge for cleaning/repairing the apartment after I left, to a debt collector. Thankfully I got a great representative at the debt collector and we were able to laugh about a few things and fully discuss this. I paid it before it reflected on my credit score. However, due to this awful business practice I will have to leave a 1* review. I have USPS Informed Delivery at my new house and have never had issues receiving mail. I never received anything from this apartment complex.

I will be telling everyone I know about these shady business practices and recommend AGAINST living at 'Heights at Hammond'. By "Luxury Apartments", they mean "Your Rights are a Luxury".

A lot of the recent reviews are fake five stars from staff members of the complex. I’ve seen 2 leasing agents write bogus reviews! Horrible place to rent from.

Love the atmosphere. The amenities have something for everyone. Love the staff. Both of my children have apartments there.

I toured the property at the beginning of the week with Tommy and it was a great experience. He was able to answer all of my questions. The apartments had a great layout and for the location and amenities you get its well worth the money.

I have never seen a place that looks just like the pictures, if your looking for an apartment I highly recommend taking a look at the Heights!

Mrs. Nicole has made moving such an easy and enjoyable process. We couldn’t be more thankful for all of her help and kindness along the way. We are so looking forward for this new adventure at The Heights!

Love this apartment complex! The staff answers emails and phone calls super quickly. The amenities are always being updated! The new gym is so amazing that I cancelled my expensive gym membership. I cannot say enough good things about this place!

I went on a tour with emily and she was super helpful! The property was so nice and the pool is amazing! They also offer free coffee! Highly recommend

Been here a few times to visit friends and family and it’s always so nice! Everything from the pool to the apartments themselves! Very beautiful place!

First things first the rent for a one bedroom at the heights is insane! I moved out and found 2 bedroom apartment equally as nice with all the same amenities plus more for over 300 less in rent. I’ve had multiple maintenance issues and they would say the issue was fixed just for me to return home and the problem persists. My move in was delayed due to improper communication on managements end and the staff not having consistent information. The front office staff is very nice but not very helpful most of the time. The garbage builds up to a ridiculous amount over the weekends (smell is horrendous) and no policy’s are enforced enough to stop it and no cameras are in place to catch the people doing it. There are also no cameras in the mail pickup area and I’ve had packages that were left on the ground instead of in my package pick box that I had to pay to get. If a package is stolen they would have no way of doing anything for you. The unit itself was nice.

Recently went on a tour with Emily. Can’t say enough about how helpful she was, and informative with everything. Property is beautiful. Free coffee, pool table and the pool is a huge plus! The experience is just always so much better when you have someone so sweet and genuinely cares about tenants and her job!

HI! MY LEASE ENDED ON AUGUST 27. DO TO COVID I COULD NOT LEAVE MY ROOM AT THE HEIGHTS.
I INFORMED NICOLE THE MANAGER AND SHE WAS SO SO SO MEAN TO ME. I COULDN'T MOVE NOR BREATH. IF I WAS ABLE TO LEAVE I WOULD HAVE. I LOVE THE HEIGHTS BUT NOT THE WORKERS. I CRIED AND CRIED AND CRIED. I DIDN'T KNOW IF I WAS GOING TO LIVE OR NOT. SHE DIDN'T HAVE TO TREAT ME LIKE SHE DID.

SHE SAID COVID HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU MOVING OUT. SHE WAS WILLING TO PUT HER WORKERS IN DANAGER. WE ALL KNOW THAT COVID IS A KILLER.

NOW SHE'S CHARGING ME RIGHT AT $3000 FOR BEING VERY SICK. I DON'T WISH THAT ON ANYBODY. I DON'T HAVE $3000 TO GIVE HER. MATTER OF FACT I'M HOMELESS BECAUSE OUR HOUSE ISN'T DONE. IT'S VERY DANGEROUS TO LIVE IN. I HAVE BEEN SLEEPING IN MY TRUCK AND JUST LIVING IN MY TRUCK.

NICOLE THE MANAGER AT THE HEIGHTS KNOWS ABOUT MY SITUATION. IN SO MANY WORDS SHE SAID SHE DOESN'T CARE AND I JUST NEED TO GET OUT.

WE THOUGHT WE WERE GOING TO BE TREATED AS LOYAL TENTANTS FOR WE HAVE ALWAYS LIVED BY THEIR RULES.

YOU WAS VERY MEAN AND CARELESS TOWARD ME.

THE HEIGHTS WOULD BE SO MUCH BETTER IF YOU WASN'T THERE.
