PetSmart, Mandeville LA

Think groomers come and go. Last time going the lady groomer for my Cockers was prefect. Today, a gentleman was the groomer and took my 2 dogs at 8: 30 am. Got them back at 2 pm only after doing 1 dog. My dogs had just gone a week and 1/2 ago for bath and brush out. He said my one dog had awful mats and he could only shave the dog. I told him no but can you just give him a bath. He told me no. I picked up dogs and waited 10 min. Aggravated I paid and did leave a tip. They had called and said they were ready. Clearly my dog groomed was not ready. I get to my car and notice my dog that was groomed was still wet underneath. I come home and we notice her skirt had not been touched and she was not brushed out at all. I then look at my receipt and I have been overcharged!
3 strikes that is when I call and ask for a manager who is off and waiting for assistant manager to return the call. The young woman in training that gives baths and blowouts is excellent! The gentleman groomer do not go to. He is clearly not able to handle appts in a timely manner and gave an awful service to my dog that I paid way to much money for. My 1 dog should have been done by 12: 30.

The store is not large or well stocked on certain Pet items but it is in a convenient location for Mandeville. Adrian, PetSmarts Mandeville groomer is awesome and is the reason I give the 5th star. She took Lola in on one days notice and was extremely nice to deal with. Thanks Adrian!

Although I love Petsmart, I do not trust their per hospital, Banfield. Their lack of empathy towards animals is frightening.

There are so many choices of foods and kitty litter, it looks like it's the same for dogs. Staff is nice.

LET ME JUST TELL YOU. WE PULLED UP AT 6: 05 (5 min AFTER closing) on January 1,2022. I don’t remember her name but she had long gray and white hair, and the other lady was Jeannie or Jeanine. Either way, THOSE TWO ABSOLUTE ANGELS. OPENED THE STORE BACK UP and allowed u s to buy the pill pockets we needed! They truly saved the day and went above and beyond to help. Thank you so much to both of you! Truly wonderful service!

Got what I needed for my dogs today. A big plus was a while back when a staff member, & she knows who she is, put a comfy cone on my dog that I purchased. We are grateful to this day! That stupid plastic cone we got from the vet my dog stood like he was paralyzed for days. We are talking about a little 7 lb chihuahua. My 12 yr old grandson had a fit and said mawmaw go get him a comfy cone and that's what we did!

Small, cramped way overpriced location in Mandeville. Went for millworms only.smallrd bottle was the size of a table salt shaker for $9.99+ tax. We stupidly bought them and went to Walmart the next day and same bottle was $5.99 HALF the price for deaf worms. All accessories, goods, litters also overpriced. Well never step foot in there again. Define PRICE GOUGING = Mandeville PetSmart.

I can in needing puppy formula right before closing after dropping my puppy off at the emergency vet and they were a big help. Thanks a million

Nice PetSmart to go to. Seemed like a smaller version than the usual ones I have been too. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to get what we needed and there wasn't a long line or anything.

This store is kind of a mess.out of stock on the same products I've been looking for the past few times I visited.

Came in 3 days ago to get an aquarium light and refills for a filter I bought here.didn’t have it.
Came in 2 days ago to buy Neon Tetras.they were still sold out as I bought the last 5 they had prior, said they’d have it Tuesday with new shipment, nope.just a few.
Came in yesterday to buy a plecostemus fish, didn’t have it. Came in today to buy plecostemus and filters.none.
Store is managed poorly, never stocked. The day I bought something, 8 were in line with one person working.waited a while.
Yesterday I came in again to see about filters etc, lady said soon as I walked in.we close in 4 minutes.

Not sure why I keep coming here.never have anything and mismanaged. Adventure pets has everything and great service but they completely rob people with their rediculous prices.
The area could do well with a great running, average priced pet store.
Ordering on line moving forward.

3 beta fish were dead in the cups and in the tanks some fish had been dead so long that the other fish were picking at their skeleton.

I brought my doggie for his appointment at 1 for a bath. I was told I would get a call when he was done. It was now 5 and didn’t hear anything. I went to the store to check on him. “Oh they didn’t call you? The groomer left at 3”. WTF? ! So who knows how long my baby has been done and sitting there.
