Germantown Pediatrician

I like this doctors office. They are nice and have a clean environment. However, on 3 occasions (November ‘23, December ‘23, and February ‘24) I took my son there with a fever and cough. They insisted there was nothing wrong just because his mucus was clear. They also said his throat was fine even though there was obvious redness and I mentioned that he’s not eating. In November I believed then. His condition got worse through the holidays. I returned in December and was told the same thing, “it’s just a virus”. I followed up with urgent care. Thank goodness I did because each time (December and February) he was tested and diagnosed with strep which requires an antibiotic.

It’s of great concern because we’re supposed to be able to trust the word doc our doctor but parents please follow your gut and seek a 2nd opinion. They are human after all but should be more diligent in testing and seeking signs of illness in these children.

Edit: the owner has responded that they were not open on those dates. I was referring to the year (November 2023, December 2023 and February 2024). I did not give the specific date of visit. But thank you for your response.

We’re clients there, dr. Anika is great and very kind person and easy to talk to. Only downside is that their waiting room is very small, in busy hours you can easily find half the patients standing.

I highly recommend this doctors office. I unfortunately am moving so can’t make the drive but DR. Malik is awesome. She listens, she brainstorms with you and doesn’t make you feel like a crazy parent. The front desk are always nice and efficient. I usually can get appointments same day if needed. I really wish I could stay with them. Thank you for your wonderful help!

We came from neighboring state, so i also need to transfer my son’s pediatric care clinic and all records to this office and my son just turned 1 year old since i registered my son to this office and while moving in, i kept on reading reviews online about the service and staff/company and majority were very good reviews. So I met Dr. Anika, it's true that she is a very good and good doctor, very informative. And attentive. SHe will really listen to your concerns and questions even small things like worrying about your child, you will be surprised by his many knowledgable answers, and advices. So you can say that your baby will be better and safer with her. And after a year i gave birth to my 2nd baby and Dr Aniqa also her doctor and if one of my kids had appointment so i need to bring both my kids because nobody can look after them at home, and great, you can feel more comfortable with her, she even more sweeter and care for my kids and as times went by, she doesn’t change. In fact she even more better.and the staffs are really nice sweet and friendly

SO frustrating. I asked if the doctor could see my son today and basically was told I could only do that if I promise to always see the doctor in the future! How bizarre - not even sure how they actually enforce that on patients. She basically told me to take my son to an urgent clinic.

So, instead of seeing a child once, they prefer not to give me an available appointment that is same day, and prefer I go sit in an urgent clinic for hours among really sick people, for something that is not urgent but needs to be checked out sooner than my baby's doctor is available (he's out sick with Covid).

First and Foremost, I absolutely loved how even though my babies had never been to Dr. Malik’s practice, as soon as I called to reset their appointment since they have been under the weather, reception did not hesitate to schedule me on the same day to bring them in due to them feeling ill. From reception, MA to Dr. Malik, I appreciated the attentiveness and peace of mind provided!

I bring my baby girl here since my sister recommended it to me and I've have not regretted it! Everyone is so wonderful.
