I made an appointment online and the car was immediately taken in. The routine service was accomplished quickly and the additional items I requested be check were addressed, including topping off my brake fluid that was low (they also checked the brakes to ensure that the low fluid was not an indication of a brake failure.)

The place is very clean and the service exceptional. The price was at least 50% lower than I would have paid at the dealership.

They will waste your time. I made an appointment with them knowing what I'm coming there for, and when I get there say "only the dealership will fix that. " 100% waste of time. I wasted my time so you wouldn't have to if anyone reads this. It was an airbag light BTW. Told them over the phone repeatedly and they still said to come in.

I had a very pleasant experience. The manager was very helpful and nice, which can be hard to come by these days. He worked with me to find some tires within my budget and then kept me apprised of the process.

Traveled from Oregon to Boston area few months ago. Don't have the facilities available to work on my own car anymore. Took it to Pep Boys and had them do tires.brakes.oil change.alignment. Very very fast dropped off the car at 8 was able to pick it up by noon. I believe the gentleman that helped me was named Steve… very friendly and welcoming. Definitely made it an easy process and appreciate his help. Car is definitely driving and running a lot smoother and feel a lot safer now driving around

Always a pleasant experience at this Pep Boys. I made an appointment online a couple of days in advance for an oil change and to have my tires checked as my low pressure light had come on. The rep who checked me in explained the pricing (a little high for a full synthetic oil change, but what can you do). The service was done quickly and I was notified by text when my car was ready. They filled my tires for free.

On Oct 21, my husband, 7yr old daughter, and I were visiting Salem from out of state and got a flat tire close to closing time. If it wasn’t for Galvin going above and beyond, we would not have made it back home that day. We cannot thank him enough for his kindness. He gets 10 stars from us. Thank you!

Excellent service! They changed my oil in a timely manner & were very polite & friendly.

Went in at 9am for a quick tire repair not one vehicle in any of the bays and they can't take care of me I won't be coming back and I will not recommend this place ever again

I have to say twice in 6 months my car had issues. From my alternator going to the other day when my car overheated. I work down the street and live 18 miles away from there. Steve who runs this location went WAY above and beyond to the first time to get me an alternator from western ma. He made multiple phone calls to try to find one that fit my car. He never gave up and got me back on the road. The other day my car overheated. When I called he right away said get it in and asked if I needed a tow as he said he didn't want the engine to get damaged. I said no as I re filled with coolant and said I could make it. He advised me to crank the heat to dissipate it from the engine. Within in 2 hrs he called to tell me one of the problems. I asked if there was anyway it could be fixed by 3p.m. He at first hesitated then he said "I'll make it happen" True to his word he did! It was ready at 3p.m. When I picked up the car I joked with him and said"as much as I would like to see you again, I hope I wont because that would mean another car issue" He replied " you can always just stop and say hi" Steve and his team has made a life long customer in me for there compassion, professionalism and dedication to service! They should truly be acknowledged and praised and rewarded for their outstanding service!

I walked in there so stressed out over my tire. They helped me out right away and I was on my merry way within 20 minutes! Left a happy customer:)
