Wish I didn't have to even give it a 1 star. They deserve no star. We had reservations for a party of 17. We got scolded for going to the bar to get an overpriced beer was told we had to get it from our server. Whatever. First impression the place looked cool and was expecting a good experience, well i was wrong. They definitely need more staff. Our waitress Honest was great but the rest of the staff needs to be replaced right down to the manager. She is a very rude person. Now onto the food. That's where it really went to hell. The food was overpriced and terrible. It took over an hour to get some of our food out to us and it came out cold. We all had to eat at different times because the kitchen was so slow. One person in our party sent back 4 scallops for being cold as ice and when they returned her plate to her she had only 3, guess they lost one. My steak was way smaller that advertised and way overpriced. They forgot my vegetable. Pulled pork Mac and cheese the pork was burnt and dry. The Mac and cheese flight you couldn't tell the difference between the 3 of them. The other waiter would only take 1 food order at a time, go to the kitchen and bring the order to them, and not take drink orders. They now lost 17 customers plus all the people from the area that said they would not go back ever.

Bad and slow service, I went to dinner with my mother and the heater was not on, it was very cold, the food is good but it takes a long time between ordering and delivery, there is a band that plays live music and the sound is very high, I thought the prices were high, it was very difficult to find an employee to ask for the bill, in short, I did not have a good experience.recommend 2/10

“Diamond in the rough, ” and “hidden gem” come to mind when describing this establishment. This restaurant has a vibrant, country bar atmosphere with an elevated dining experience. The food is incredible - not “bar food. ” There’s live country music, line dancing, axe throwing, bull riding, fun cocktails, western-chic decor, and constant creative events advertised on social media. You’d typically have to go to Boston to get this kind of experience, but Whiskey Rocks is right in our backyard, and with plenty of free parking. Our server was Spencer, and he was professional, knowledgeable, and attentive, not to mention an all-around fun presence for our girls’ night out. The GM, Sophia came to our table and introduced herself. It’s clear she takes extreme pride in the restaurant (and rightly so!). Shane was our bartender. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and even made us special Valentine’s Day cocktails that weren’t on the menu. The entire evening was such a treat and I can not recommend this place enough. Treat yourself!

Not great. Super over priced. Food was sub par at best, meat had a burnt over cooked taste and sooo salty and rich. Was like bar food with a Michelin Star price. I told my husband to send his dish back because it was so salty he almost couldnt eat it (and he loves salt) but he has a fear of someone spitting in his food and he didn't want to wait long again. Slow service, even though place dead, but waiter was nice.

Like atmosphere, live music and the dessert. Other than that was a no go. Sad because my husband an I have wanted to go for a while and we are extremely disappointed.

Great music.fun axe throwing, but the food is pricey and not really good. The fries are awesome. The menu is limited. They should change the menu to more what it is.similar to the old Toby Keith bars.pub style, more sandwiches, more appetizers, and definitely more reasonable pricing.

Great atmosphere; scratch made food; a bit on the pricey side for what you get, but they get points for almost everything being house made. 10/10 would go back.

Terrible service. Far too over prices and terrible food. We had to ask 5 times for water. Got the wrong food and tiny portions.

Friendly service, Sophia and Honesty are the best! All of the staff is very knowledgeable on items on their menu and quick to answer any questions about different items. Cute drinks and unique apps, plenty of options for entree and desserts! They have different events all the time from line dancing to trivia.

Great Space. Friendly Staff. Live Music was nice. Heavy pour on the drinks if you are into that. FOOD was almost un edible. Way too much salt on my dish.

Food was below average compared to price, drinks were good, atmosphere was empty. Seems like this place is doing too much and needs to find it’s personality and clientele. Place has a lot of potential but nothing really incentivized me going back. Service was great though.

This place has it all! Amazing bar, great food, a mechanical bull, axe throwing, and live music! It's huge inside! It's a little pricey, but you pay for quality!

Great bourbon selection! Staff is awesome. And who doesn't want to go somewhere that has a mechanical bull?

My wife and I visited Whiskey Rocks recently for the first time. Simply put, the food was excellent, the atmosphere is spacious and comfortable, and the service was top notch.
The floor space is huge, and this allows them to have tables spaced wider apart than your typical restaurant. It is well furnished, with couches and soft chairs. Both the spacing and the furniture, as well as many other factors, makes for a very comfortable space to spend time in. The food was absolutely top notch. My wife ordered the Filet, me the ribeye. They were both cooked perfectly to order and wonderfully spiced. The loaded potatoes, we both agreed, were the best we've had in a very long time, maybe ever. Even the veggie, a brocoli mix, was excellent.
Do me, and yourself, a favor and patronize this place so that we don't lose it like we have other good establishments in this area. This one is a keeper.

Update: I've been twice since my first experience. My 2nd visit the food was ok but not nearly as good as the first. The 3rd visit it was simply not good at all. The chicken was badly overcooked and the service was very slow despite it not being very busy. At these high prices you have to be consistently good, unfortunately that has not been my experience. Very disappointed as my first visit was so good. A shame really, we need high quality places in town.

Food incredible! Put more bartenders on Saturday night.half hour is a long wait. Southern rock band started at 7: 30. Great tunes! Suggest bands start at lower volume level and work up as the night moves on. Unable to talk while dining will turn people off. Just pump it up gradually. Hope you make it!

OK nice place but not as nice as the price point, especially with the awful service. Expect 30 minutes between order time and drink delivery with an Hr+ for food which is good but limited. ITS A WHISKEY BAR WITH NO WHISKEY MENU.

First time at Whiskey Rocks. Great food, wonderful waitress/bartender Sophia, friendly and excellent chef, great ambiance. Plus they had a wonderful “local” brewery, Wormtown of Worcester, brew, Blizzard of ‘78, that was really great, and the name meant so much to us…. Long story, but because of that storm we are now married for 42 years!

Stopped in for dinner tonight. It was EXCELLENT! Drinks were good. Dinner and apps were delicious. The bread pudding for dessert was also awesome! We will definitely be back! Totally worth checking out, even if you’re not super close to the Dudley area it’s worth the drive!

Sophia was AWESOME! I had a Buffalo Trace Old Fashioned! The flavor was incredible. We ordered the egg rolls as an appetizer - delicious! I had the Shepard’s Pie - amazing! My husband had the perfectly prepared tips with a side of jalapeño cheddar Mac & cheese - legendary! Took home a bunch of leftovers. Music, atmosphere, cocktails, and food all as desired. Can’t wait to come back!
