Michigan Urgent Care - Ann Arbor

WOW! New management since I was here in the Spring of 2022. What an INCREDIBLE improvement! I came here today due to a work injury and was seen very promptly after filling out a form. I cannot say enough great things about the kindness, care and professionalism from the entire staff! The front desk gal was very kind and efficient. Once called back, I was greeted by the staff at the area there where they do their notes and charting. THEN, NASH The Medical Assistant! AH-amazing! As was Dr. A.sincere, kind, thorough, efficient and attentive. I dreaded having to go to this clinic this morning but was very pleasantly surprised and thrilled by the top notch, authentic care and kindness I received and how efficient they are. I thought I’d be waiting for hours, and from start to finish, including X-Rays, I was out the door in about an hour! I honestly cannot say enough great things about the all new staff and management at this clinic.

First, I believe it will be a service to point out that there are urgent cares associated with a legit medical system, like UM or st Joe's, and there are FOR PROFIT private urgent cares all over Ann Arbor. You may have been to one and had a good experience, but I would never again trust them with my health. I presented with week long pneumonia symptoms, and the doctor never listened to my chest. The only thing he said was my rapid test was negative (I'd already done one at home) and flu tests were negative. He was, however, interested in asking about my purse.

I was seen promptly and received helpful care. It was a lot better than going to the ER or waiting for my regular doctor’s office to open.

The day shift team was great! The check in ladies were nice and knowledgeable. The MA he was compassionate and the Doctor she did a thorough assessment and she was very nice. I had a great experience. On 1/7/23 shout out to day shift!

I walked in to Michigan Urgent Care and told them my pain is a 9-10 severiry level. Short wait time at the lobby.
Right away the doctor ordered a muscle relaxant injection. The nurse who administered the injection was gentle. I mentioned that I’m afraid of needle - so she was able to distract my senses and did the injection ever so gently and quickly. After 10-15 minutes of wait, the effect of the meds started to eased up the pain and I was anle to move more comfortably. The assistant who took my vitals was very polite and cheerful.
I will recommend this place 100%.

Apparently they're not enforcing their own mask ordinaces, and as an immunocompromised person it's unsafe for me to sit in the lobby.

They were efficient when I went at 8am, but I was concerned by the lack of cleanliness in the facility and the bizarrely brief interaction I had with the physician. I'm not exaggerating by saying he spent a total of two minutes talking with me and handing me a prescription.

An absolute nightmare. The second doctor I saw made the pain so much worse by being too aggressive to the area, and the staff here were extremely disrespectful. They thought I was on hold, and I overheard them bad-mouthing/mocking me. Your job is to help people, not to make them feel worse. Be professional, and do not gossip with your staff. Do not go here.

Staff were great. Follow up was awful. Hey Nextcare Admin, pay your people better and staff your labs. People are itchy and cranky and shouldn't have to wait a month to find out if they have shingles.

Both the physician and nurse were kind and respectful. The care was complete and expedient. Everyone explained the processes, diagnostic testing, final conclusion, and plan well. Recommend

Really wish they had the capability to do a Western Blot to test for Lyme, but it’s not their fault. You will likely have to wait a while depending on how busy they are, but all the staff was very kind and thorough and I appreciate that so much! Thanks!

Clean, helpful. Not real quick but did do what I needed done. Covid test. Negative. Check in was different. All done with a kiosk.

If it weren't for the check in process I would have given 5 stars. To have to go through all those steps when you aren't feeling good is not acceptable to me. I guess I am old school.

Went in for my toddlers visit due to him having pain in his ear.staff was not really friendly. Doctor was quick and barely examined my son and immediately said he had an ear infection. We ended visiting our pediatrician later in the afternoon because I felt very rushed out of there. Turns out my son had a bug in his ear.

Can’t say enough about the doctor who was there today to help my daughter with a bad allergic reaction. He was very very quick about seeing us, and checked her throat & tongue, then got her a steroid shot immediately. We were in & out of there with a script for an epi pen & oral steroids in less than a half hour. The nurse and receptionist were also very kind and reassuring.

Waste of time. The facility is not equipped to do anything unless you have a cough according to the uncaring physician. Also doesn’t look clean. Receptionist was nice. But this place is useless.

Miraculously they were open this evening when I discovered a tick bite. They removed it quickly and I am now on the way to CVS in Belleville, the only pharmacy that is open. Relieved and enormously grateful to the doctor and staff at this urgent care. Totally recommend them.

Onboarding / check-in went smoothly. People were polite. Service was efficient. Care was appropriate. This is my go-to for urgent care.

Go somewhere else. 45 minutes in and 6 people in the waiting room and they haven’t called anyone in the back to be seen. No communication.

*Update- 1hr and 54 mins in and they’ve seen 3 people. Horrible*

*Update- After 2 hours and 25 mins they finally got me in for a 4 minute test and out the door*

Find some where else people.

I went in today and got seen for my burn after being on hold with my PCP after 30 minutes. I got seen and treated right away. The doctor was empathetic, cared for my well-being, and educated me on my health. She answered all of my questions and made me feel heard and comfortable. Mia definitely is going to recommend this Urgent Care!
