Home2 Suites by Hilton Hattiesburg

Very unique location, 1 side us a home2suites and the other side is a HAMPTON Inn. This location is real nice clean and upto date. These two location share the lobby and the kitchenette area for buffet breakfast.
Great location right off hwy 98 and
I 59. Weill definitely visit again.

Nice place overall. Buffet is meh most days but appreciate it. I love the coffee and it's always available 24/7. It has a mini store that is good to grab stuff ASAP if you need it. The gym is meh but it has 1 free weight rack. I wish it had more benches. Only one bench makes it rough for a group of people to work together. Pool is good. I'm staying here for a month so I experienced a lot. Room service and employees are the best.

Our brief overnight stay recently was great. We enjoyed what facilities we used and noticed that many amenities were available should they be needed.

Stayed for 3 nights for work. Room was clean and I encountered no issues. Water was hot when needed. Fridge worked well. Only issue was the USB charge port next to bed was inoperative. Good breakfast selection, Very friendly morning staff.

Was attending my mom's funeral and had lots of location / assistance requests, which the staff helped with, without fail. And the breakfasts were 7 on a 5 point scale.

Over the years, traveling with my husband's job, I have spent many nights in hotels. A hotel can be made by it's staff. This is certainly the case here! Each member is more kind, friendly, and caring than the last. I spoke with over 7 employees during my stay who all remembered me. And then there is JOE! Everyone comes for Joe, I can tell you that! It is rare that you find someone that takes pride and joy in anything they do. But Joe does. He greets every single person at breakfast, keeps the area spotless, remembers you each morning, even asks if you slept in. This man's heart is worn for everyone to see. The world needs more Joes!

Well you made good on that! As of today we checked out and Sam once again made us feel like family! Well my husband went for business without me but I got to speak with Joe on the phone at breakfast (tradition) and Sam texted me! Now that's staff!

The bed was very uncomfortable and noisy anytime we moved, and we’re not big people. Lots of noise from an air conditioning unit that sits right next to the bed and any time the unit turned on and off it would wake us up. Other than those two complaints, the hotel was great and very clean with lots of storage and a full size refrigerator. Very friendly staff. We will not be staying here again.

Always a pleasant stay at this hotel! The staff is friendly and welcoming and the hotel is spotless. Highly recommend the Home2 Suites/Hampton Inn in Hattiesburg.

We stayed 4N5D at this Hilton hotel and was so pleased of our stay. The upstairs neighbors are loud, I believed it’s a child who runs back and forth the room all day all night. It’s not the hotel’s fault, wish parents are a bit more considerable with neighbors. Breakfast is good, wonderful staff and very friendly. We stayed in a handicapped room and the suite was really nice. We sat outdoor and watch the fireplace while having take out dinner with husband. We will stay there again when we visit MIL in Ellisville.

Great hotel, incredibly friendly staff. Nice room, good location. I’m a fan of the Home2 brand and this one did not disappoint. Recommended if you’re spending a night in Hattiesburg.

A nice hotel, reasonably priced, easy on/off the freeway. The only reason I gave it one less star was because I had a light not working in my room, by the bed I was sleeping on, and when I told the night clerk on duty, I'm not even sure he wrote it down but nobody came to do anything about it, and that was after I'd try to call the front desk about it, he put me on hold 15 minutes, I ended up hanging up and going down to the front desk. My keys didn't work when I checked in, and I had to go back down to the lobby, wait in line again to get new keys made. Then in the morning I went out to my vehicle at 9 AM, checkout is not until 11, but came back in and my keys didn't work again and again I had to go back down to the lobby. On the plus side, I was very, very impressed with the personnel in the kitchen. They were friendly and helpful and went out of their way to acknowledge customers and wish them a good day. The front desk clerk in the am was also very helpful and friendly. There was 1 young man emptying trash inside and out. He was making a point to acknowledge everyone who walked by, say hello, and wish them a good day. I loved his spirit. He made my day. My stay was 3-5-23 to 3-6-23.

ANSWERING MY REWIEW ANSWER:
I wonder why I would call to the hotel if the day I was accused of robbery I did some calls to ask about why you took my 500$ and during the last call I was accused of harassment (just for asking what had happened) and you told me to stop calling.
WORST PLACE EVER.

This hotel is adjoined with Hamptom Inn. It is pet friendly which was a plus. It is also well located with restaurants at walking distance, gas stations, off the highway, about 5 to 7 minutes to stores, markets, fast foods, the mall and more! The staff is friendly! The rooms are clean. I recommend this place!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.
I would like to share the most disappointed experience I had in a Hilton Hotel. I usually stay in Hilton hotels because the quality and personal is really good. This one, good bedroom (not the best) but was fine, clean, kind personal… no complains until they charged me 500$ dollar extra. I received the bank notification after leaving the hotel like 1 and half hour later. I called the hotel and they say that the charge is because I stole a “cooking top”. Is legal to charge you without notification? They never called to me asking if I got the cooking top, they charged and then, when I called them is when I had the answer about the supposed rob. I called of course the police, my husband at the same time called to do a report with Hilton… I called several times to the hotel and the supervisor and manager never say their name.never say the name of the housekeeper and the supposed manager shouted at me saying: or you return the cooking top or pay 500$. Of course I already called a lawyer, I have the police report and I my bank has the report as well. I would like to know different opinions. Why the didn’t give me their names? Why after 4 calls I am accused of harassment when Iam trying to understand who report the situation and my first language is Spanish so I couldn’t understand what was going on? Why should I think? Who rob the cooking top that I never saw: the housekeeper, the supervisor, the manager? Please, I accept counseling in this case that never happen to me because Hilton doesn’t work in this way… a lady from Hilton customer service is helping me as well to try to identified the personal. No words at all, just don’t go to this place. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.

4.5 star review - We really enjoyed our stay at Home2 with our 3 month old. We stayed in a King studio (i.e, the couch pulls out into a bed and there’s a curtain between the couch and bed for privacy, kitchenette, bathroom). The room was super clean and smelled lovely. There was tons of storage! Lots of outlets and lighting options. Couch with ottoman was really cozy for bottle feeding, nearly fell asleep sitting up! Our baby slept in a pack and play we brought; we used the privacy curtain so her side of the room was nice and dark while we watched TV and ate dinner. It was so easy to bathe her in the bathroom sink and I washed bottles in the kitchen. The water got instantly hot and was a good pressure. Tons of variety at breakfast and the food was delicious.
The only bummers was a semi truck running idle all night in the parking lot and someone was smoking pot somewhere on the premise at around 3am and the smell crept into our room. My only suggestion is having a patrol officer on duty.
