H&M, Chesterfield MO

My fiancé and I walked in, he touched the mannequin’s hands. Not in a rough way, literally just touching it because it looked funny. We laughed and it wasn’t even 5 seconds and we got yelled at, quite literally from a woman with bright green hair. I looked at her and she said something disrespectful under her breath. The employees started laughing at us. My pride isn’t hurt, I don’t care if they laugh at me or not. But the disrespect and out of character I experienced was an absolute joke. I do understand it’s the holiday and it’s hard - but that behavior does not represent the H&M I know at all. You are there to work and be welcoming and take care of your store. None of which was being done by this employee at the time we entered.

Worst store I’ve been to. Literally the lady with the green hair needs counseling. Yelling at customers as they enter into your store for being curious about what’s on a mannequin isn’t professional and isn’t customer service. Grow up and get a job somewhere else if you can’t be respectful.

Went in to purchase some clothing for my kids for back to school. They explained that the dressing rooms were closed so we needed to buy and try on at home. No worries they said because we could always bring back what we don’t like. Well they lied because when we went in today to make the returns, they said no because it was more than 30 days. When I explained the situation, the manager was rude enough about it that I asked for a number to call and complain. They gave me a number that had no affiliation with the stores. When I tried to work with customer service, the manager rudely reiterated what he told me for their rep. I verified that they got it on the recording, ended the call, and walked out.
Was I asking for something outside of the norm? Yes. Did I know that at the time? No. Maybe that makes me a Karen. What it also means is that this self-proclaimed store manager felt like holding on to my $60 was more important than any future business I or my kids might bring. Ok…
Just know that if you buy something here, there is NO flexibility with returns

Employees are very friendly and the store always looks good. 30 day return policy but it’s stated everywhere even on the receipt.

Employees loudly complained about customers coming in with half an hour before close.
