Pizza Inn, Thayer MO

2/5/2023 2nd time going to this Pizza in. Walked in at 5: 15pm. 2 other customers there. No pizza out on the buffet. The young, dark headed lady at the cashier overcharged us. We had 2 adults and 2 children, she charged for 4 adults, never asked for the children's ages. When I called this to her attention she was very, very rude. So I asked her why she didn't inquire and she wouldn't answer. I would not have her working for me, or recommend her to anyone, not in any form.
Once they did bring the Pizza to the buffet it was very good, and the lady helping us at the point was very good.

They'll cancel your online order after charging you claiming they're closed when they're clearly open.

This is the worst pizza inn! The last 2 times my order has been wrong! The first time it was wrong I ordered online. Ordered supreme max with no black olives. No where online does it say it comes with green olives, nor is there an option for green olives. It was covered in green olives! I told them that it was wrong. They said I was at fault! Would not remake pizza or give me a refund since it was paid for online. Sitting here now waiting for over an hour. Every time I ask, "it'll be about 10 minutes ", I've heard 10 minutes for 45 minutes! This place sucks at service!

Very good. I was a little reluctant to try this place but very happy I did. It was yummy. Just what we needed after a long drive.

I really enjoyed this place yesterday after church. The staff keep it clean and the buffet was fresh and inexpensive. I am not a huge pizza fan, but I will be back to try the other items on the menu next time.

They do not offer a carb free option. Also, the staff was unknowing on how to run specific cards. There was also a child, looked to be about 8 years old, behind the counter, who came from the back where they cook the food. It took about 40 minutes to get a "pizza" with no crust, just the meat, cheese and sauce, (was charged the same price as a large specialty pizza) and 1 pepperoni pizza. They also have specials, that we were told the employees weren't allowed to tell us were there. The pan pizza we've ordered in the past for delivery have been good though. I would order from this establishment again, but I also hope they correct their issues. Please add a carb free option!

Was only driving through the area, stopped for the lunch buffet. Was delicious and everything was fresh. If ever back in the area again, would definitely return.

We went for the buffet after church. Was a good sized crowd already there. Took quite awhile before anyone would come to the register and take our order. We asked for 2 senior buffets. They charged one full price and gave the other a senior discount. I look younger, but am almost 68-so I definitely qualified for the senior discount. No fresh pizzas on the buffet. Really wanted the chocolate chip pizzert. Had a few slices on the buffet when we arrived. Never replenished it. We took the last remaining piece after waiting forever. Not yummy. Crust and topping were hard. Before we left, they did finally bring out some fresh pizza, but we'd already eaten the old stuff by then. They also finally brought out a cinnamon pastry with icing just before we left. Was delicious. Wouldn't do Sunday buffet again. Not worth the price.

Didn't actually try the food, but the place looks closed down and abandoned from one side, which is actually the side that faces the main highway that goes through town. I didn't realize it was even open for business until after walking back across the street from the Casey's C store across the street.

Stopped to eat here while driving through Missouri for a trip. EXCELLENT service and such great hospitality! Will definitely be stopping here again on the way back from my trip!

Worst service ever. Would give a 0, if allowed. I ordered half, no cheese. And they practically called me a liar, when I received a pizza with cheese all over, they wouldn't fix me another one. Said I didn't order it that way.

When we arrived, no one would answer their service bell until the 2nd time ringing it, then I still waited 5 minutes before the manager came to take my order.

Manager girl was so rude when confronted with our issue. We ended up leaving, with pizza on the table. Kept telling me that I did not order the pizza without cheese. And, that she'd make me one. But I'd have to pay for another pizza.

I recommend never going to this place to eat.

I was just almost hit by your delivery driver in old town he was in the white SUV and he was texting on his phone and almost hit me head on you all really need to to be heads up

Prices have gone up, buffet prices not to bad but don't order out! Prices will shock you! What used to be a $10 pizza is now almost $20, and on any extras and driver/delivery fees and you've spent almost $50. Pizza taste and flavors are still good!

Staff was so so very friendly. Even close to buffet closing time they asked if we would like any particular pizza and then had it out very quickly along with a fresh dessert pizza. Highly recommend.

I placed an order then waited an hour and called back and they put us on hold then i called back and they wouldnt answer they didnt answer and when they did they hung up so i called a few more times on a different phone and some guy said they didnt make it until i ordered it but i already ordered it. Its 11/15/21 at 5: 30pm and im so angry im not going back.

First and last visit here. Place was nasty & it wasn't because they were understaffed. The two women at front were polite enough. They talked constantly to each other & never asked us if we needed anything. Had the buffet which was a mistake. Everything looked good but it was not fresh at all. Will definitely not go back.

If zero stars was an option i would give it zero. Horrible experience. Paid for 2 adults 2 kids.they brought out one pizza in the 15 minutes that we were in there, which was gone in a matter of 2 mins, as the folks that had been sitting in there longer than us took the whole thing. They had cheese breadsticks and dessert pizza. Poor kids left hungry still they only got breadsticks and peaches. As for my fiancé he paid 10.81 for the adult buffet and got one piece of pizza the whole time we were there which was well over 40 mins. We will not be back. Could have got better pizza at Casey’s across the road. 0/10 do not recommend.

Passing through Thayer, our car broke down, while waiting for Tim at Mero Garage, we decided to eat at Pizza Inn. It was so good and everyone very nice. Thank you for making a bad situation good. Again pizza was amazing. Thank you!
