Jake's Bar & Grill, Billings MT

Expect to spend a little, for the quality of restaurant, the bathrooms definitely need more attention and a little nicer amenities. Great staff and atmosphere

Unfortunately, this is a one star for service. We sat in the bar on a Saturday night around 330-4pm on Nov 13th. We were waited by a female (shorter, possibly Hispanic mid - late 30s dark long hair she has two young kids she felt compelled into sharing that information with my husband) she was beyond inappropriate. She made us all so uncomfortable, my mother in law even wanted to move into the dining room due to her lack of class. (But it wasn’t opened yet)
We all come from the food and beverage industry/customer service industry in Vegas so this isn’t our first rodeo of running business and or dealing with trashy waitresses.
However, this girl wasn’t understanding the restaurant business very well. She was heavily flirting with my husband in front of me and our family. My husband was even so uncomfortable he moved seats. It was so bad my mother-in-law even caught a glimpse of this going on in the background of our video we were making and we’d be happy to share to the general manager or owner for educational purposes. (My husband plans on contacting the owner over this).
This waitress possessed zero class and unfortunately that’s her standards on making a living. We aren’t confrontational people so we figured we’d just leave a comment for the manager who either makes a percentage off his girls OR needs to teach them some class. Either way, bad for business.
Wouldn’t go back to this location. And unfortunately she tainted a first experience for our family members who witnessed this. So much so, walking out our family members said “too bad we didn’t have singles”. Clean it up Jakes.
My husband Has left a message for the manager since he was really the one that felt completely disrespected, we are still waiting for a call back.
That experience was trashy.

Super friendly staff. A bit pricey for the quality if food. Sirloin was tough and not very much flavor.

You can count on Jakes to have Good food and Good Service. Can't remember ever having a bad experience.

Ok so. I've been working there for a month and on my third week my back window in my truck got completely smashed out.and found out that it's been happening for over a month to employees.no one told me and now I have a $325 bill to pay.the owner couldn't care less.
But having to go back to the table and tell people your sorry that they've been sitting there for the average of 45 minutes or longer.waiting for your food was just over the top. It's not what it's made out to be.super expensive for naught.

A local high end resturant, serving great steak, seafood, and a variety of other entrees, salads and burgers. The staff is very professional, courteous, and well trained. They knew the menu and specials. The food is amazing and made exactly to order.recommended for anyone and will return soon.

This place is spendy but dang was the food good! I had the bison burger. I forget the name but it was excellent. My buddy had a classic burger. We shared pot stickers and an app. They were packaged and disappointing. They should either make them from scratch or replace them with something they can make from scratch considering their prices. Overall though, the burgers were great and we'll be back to try something new next time.

The Million Dollar Salad with steak and jalapeño ranch is very good! The hostess and server were very friendly. I recommend it.

Went in for lunch and sat at the bar for 20 minutes for nothing. Wasn't greeted, wasn't offered a menu, nothing. Like I wasn't even there, So I left.

This was my first time eating at Jake's and when I walked in I immediately thought this place was just going to be one of those overpriced places that doesn't really delivery on flavor but I was proven wrong very fast! They had fantastic service and the three items we ordered from the menu were hands down the best food I've had in a long time! Will definitely make it a point to visit more frequently!

Had to take one star away for the grocery bought appetizer and desert. Soup was obviously made with onion salt. Beside that the main meal was great. The services was awesome. Drinks were good.

Everything about my experience was wonderful, prime rib was excellent, the cocktail was fabulous (mojito pomegranate ginger) service was great it was very busy. I think 40.00 for 12 oz was high but it was very good, so thank you and I will be back

Service, presentation, and selection was great. Do not recommend the prime rib. While cooked just right, the au jus was extremely bland.

I don't think I have ever hated a restaurant as much as this one. The two stars is for the delightful Old Fashioned I was served. This place is serving Sysco/US Foods quality garbage at Capitol Grille prices. We started with a shrimp cocktail which consisted of 5 soggy shrimp on a handful of wilted food service spring mix for $18. My wife got the bacon wrapped filet which was tolerable. I got the famous prime rib which was overcooked to the point of being literal trash. The plating looked like someone did it with their feet.

Refused to take reservations or explain their circumstances over the phone then refused the party with sharp and short responses in person. Would never return

Absolutely phenomenal service! Our server was amazing with her recommendations. My husband and I were wanting a nice night out as we traveled through for our honeymoon and they did not disappoint.
