Holiday Inn Express & Suites Henderson, an IHG Hotel

Very friendly staff! Very helpful and professional. The hotel rooms were clean, well taken care of. Breakfast was delicious and there was free wifi, what more could you want?

Typical holiday Inn express. No complaints. Booked last minute and they had room. TV was a bit outdated, shower water pressure was adequate (not too little like some places), quiet. Bathroom had one part of the plastic molding at the bottom coming off the wall some but nothing you'd really notice.

Very disappointed with this place 1s off they didnt clean my rooms for 2 days then when I asked y not they said a lady did clean.n insisted I was lying I will never stay at any of these hotel very poor service for the price not worth it at all.p. O.s. Management

We had a 1 month long reservation and they sold our rooms. They said they tried calling us but we didn’t respond-because we were on our flight-and so they sold our rooms. Complete bs.

Nice hotel, rooms were clean and beds were comfy. Had a free dinner on Monday night for the guests, could be better but free is free. All in all, a great place.

Amazingly friendly staff, and food services workers. Great little small plates reception with wine, nachos, salsas, guac, chicken, veggie and dip, soda etc. All complimentary on certain days. Free warm cookies! Would definitely stop here again!

The staffs were nice, also delicious cookies (sometimes not available). Rooms are a little bit old but clean. Overall it’s a nice experience.

Well we had a reservation, got cancelled for some reason (UFC weekend in Vegas), they told me they tried to call me but never saw a missed call nor email, although my Belgian Phone number (with landcode!) and email address were clearly specified. Seems like we were not the only one, some poor Indian guy flew all the way from Australia and got cancelled as well. The lady at the front desk, we knew it wasn't her fault, tried to find us a new hotel room but obviously during fight weekend, even Motel 6 charges 400 / night. She was nice enough to let us use the WIFI and refresh ourselves in the pool area (there's a shower). Unable to find a hotel we spend the night (3 hours max) in our rental car on the parking lot. So yeah, no idea if the hotel is any good.

The room had not been updated like most of the Holiday Inn Express rooms I often stay in, and the toilet kept backing up (disgusting) during our two day stay. For the high price we paid for the room, I expect much better. I stay with HI Express all the time and always happy, except this time.

I would like to give a better rating, as the hotel is clean and safe, however the staff apparently needs an education in ADA laws. I have a service dog, she is a seizure alert dog and by law is able to go everywhere with me. My dog is extremely well trained, she has to be. When I tried to go to breakfast, an employee working the breakfast told me she was not allowed in the breakfast area. When I tried to explain to her that she was a service dog, I was told it didn't matter, she wasn't allowed. Now, I would understand if she was a pet, but this dog is an extension of me and is a working animal. Rather than make a scene, I walked away. My husband told the manager, who said she would speak to the employee, which she did, but my husband said the employee was still adamant that I was not allowed in that area w my dog. So, apparently if I was traveling alone, I would not have been able to eat breakfast there. No effort was made to speak with me about the situation, even when I checked out, I was just asked if I wanted my receipt. Very disappointed

I’ve never left a bad review for anyone. This hotel is the worst. I never bothered to confront them, because its clear that they don’t care. They made that clear. First they gave us a key to someone else room, and we entered the room in the dead of night, terrifying the occupants and almost causing them to act in self defense. As if we were intruders. The room was filthy. The employee laughed at it, even when I expressed there could have been violence, because we intruded in a hotel room! He thought it funny! He giggled and sent us to another room. Dirt and dust on the bed frame and the furniture. Bathroom was grimy. Floor was not vacuumed. It was horrid and dirty, the toilet overflowed in the morning and did not go down. The TV Did not work, but constantly froze. When I reached out to them this morning, in writing, there was no response. Don’t stay here. Horrible place.

Woke up with what look like bug bites all over my body. Hands, elbows, under clothing.everywhere. Some looked like large mosquitos bites others were smaller than dimes around, but are raised and red. I looked around, but couldn't find anything.

Packed up, left my room, went to speak to the manager, and before 10: 30am, albeit on a Saturday.there was no manager on site, because they were "out for the day". I had to leave my number for them to hopefully call back. I'm not holding my breath.

If you're staying in the Henderson area, maybe pick another place to be safe

This is a great location! The staff is amazing…especially Natasha! (she has the coolest nails!). I have stayed at this property for several years and the staff has always made me feel at home.

Andrea and Whitney (front desk) were both very sweet and personable. It was nice coming "home" for the night to see their smiling faces, it made the hotel itself more comfortable overall. Truthfully, they saved the day when it comes to rating this Holiday Inn location.

The building itself is older and the rooms could have been cleaner, but they were clean enough to be comfortable. The a/c is very loud and rattles while on, which is pretty much constant because of the location in AZ. As a side note, this location doesn't have a pool, but shares one with a neighboring hotel. Basically, you have access to the other hotel's pool because it's at the other building. There is a gym on-site and business center.

Free breakfast is offered from 6: 30-9: 30 AM and check out is at 11 AM. I have to deduct a star from this review for 2 reasons:
1. Housekeeping woke us up at 9: 15 AM when check out is at 11 AM. They tapped on the door repeatedly with a room key and announced themselves despite it being well in advance of check-out time. If we had notified the front desk of an early check-out, then that would have been reasonable.
2. Sunday check-in was almost $40 cheaper than a Monday check-in. On what planet does that make sense? I'm wondering if it's because we were calling from the room phone and they wanted a higher rate for our convenience of staying there. Because of this, we packed up our things and are booked with a different hotel.

We needed to stay a few nights as we moved into town and closed on a new house. Whitney was so kind and helpful, not just with our stay but giving tips about the area. She genuinely cares and made our first few nights in our new home town really wonderful! The breakfast and business center were also highlights for me.

Best pet friendly hotel. Staff was really nice and give treats to your pets. Stay on first floor to have your very own parking spot with entrance.
