AmeriCare Physical Therapy, Garwood NJ

I cannot speak highly enough of AmeriCare PT staff members. They are friendly, professional, bilingual, and knowledgeable. Brian helped me to get a better strength and mobility to my right shoulder and arm. After going to few PT around my area, I am glad I found AmeriCare. The best place that provides genuine care to their patients.

I am very happy I found AmeriCare PT. My wife actually had used them before (and started again) because of recurring back issues she had. I started having some mostly knee/lower leg, and minor back issues I needed to take care of. I had to take care of this because in Feb. 2022 I will be off to US Navy boot camp, after having an injury when I went in 2019 and being medically discharged. I was not going to have that happen again!

I started seeing Brian and his staff and I could not be more happy with the progress. The different number of stretches and workouts I was missing out on or potentially being done badly by myself was fixed and I only keep improving. I like that Brian takes the time to actually listen to your whole story and recommends things slowly to get back where you need to be. It never felt like a one size fits all and he always makes sure you're feeling good and better than the last time.

Believe it or not, I'm going back to boot camp at 39 years old, the max age for the Navy. I feel a lot more confident because of the work with Brian, which I will continue until right before I leave.

As a former collegiate athlete, I am no novice to
physical therapy. I've dealt with calf/Achilles
tendinitis or tightness for years now. Dr. Greg Z at
this clinic worked wonders on the tightness I had
dealt with for countless years. Through a
multitude of modalities, my calves have never felt
better. He was caring, empathetic, and patient
during my treatment there. I am grateful to him for
his time and expertise. To add to my wonderful
experience, the support staff should also be
commended for their high quality service. Terri at
the front desk, was always patient with working
with my challenging schedule. As well as Alyssa,
helping support me through my exercises. The
entire team was an absolute pleasure to work
with. If need be, I know where to go for any future
PT for myself. And I will be recommending friends
and family in need of PT to visit AmeriCare of
Garwood!

I have been seeing Zach, OT hand therapist for 2 months now post thumb surgery. Zach is an excellent therapist, he is very knowledgeable, compassionate and skilled. I have made great improvements in regaining full use of my thumb and hand.

I have been working with Brian on a somewhat complicated knee injury. In less than 2 months, I have my full range of motion back. Brian is friendly, compassionate and listens to all your concerns. He checks in often and always has answers for my many questions. I've made amazing progress thanks to him. When I started, I was barely mobile with a horrible limp and now I'm back in the gym. Highly recommend, can't say enough good things!

I have been a loyal “customer” of Americare for quite some time and highly recommend them whether it is to be treated by a pt or ot. Most recently I have been with an ot after breaking my wrist and continuing after serious tendon transfer surgery. The level of expertise in their individual fields of practice including compassion for what you are experiencing I have not found anywhere else. Americare has a great staff of people. My hand therapist Zack went above and beyond to heal a pinky that I had smashed up in a gym accident. Between the endless massage and exercises he put me through, Zack is also extremely creative and handy in making splints which helped mobilize the pinky in the times I was resting. Zack was meticulous in measuring my progress. The assistances were also fantastic and friendly and made the establishment very welcoming. Terry is an awesome admin who helped in handling all my billing questions and appointments.

I went to Americare after injuring my neck and was in quite some pain. Making an appointment was easy and I was able to be seen right away. Michelle was great to work with - along with the extended team in the office. I felt listened to when describing my issues, and felt the stretches and programs were tailored to what worked for me and what help me heal. While I hope I don’t have to go back for some time - I would definitely recommend AmeriCare to anyone that needs PT.

Brian helped me recover from my pectoralis major surgery within the time I wanted and even faster than expected. All the staff are great and extremely kind and caring towards my needs especially since I have lots of questions about my recovery. They answer all of them with plenty of explanation. Great place to go for physical therapy did not want to go anywhere else.

This has been the best physical therapy practice I've ever been to since I was referred to for treatment for my injuries. The staff are really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I just started receiving treatment from Brian who has done a great job with his treatment on me and answers any questions that I have at the time.

Patrick and Brian were fantastic. I couldn’t move my arm and shoulder and within a week I saw great results. Within the first week I was able to return to my normal activities. I’m glad I came to Americare and would recommend them to anyone who needs therapy. Staff is very nice and helpful too!

Americare was great! They were super helpful and knowledgeable. They followed the road map to recovery that my doctor gave me and really worked to help me recover.
