Optical Shop Of Santa Fe

I went here on my birthday looking for two specific frames; after greeting somebody, I was rudely met with the response "with the intention to buy? " in a tone I don't think anybody would appreciate.

Why else would I be there? I could already tell I was not being taken seriously as a customer.

After trying-on the glasses, I asked if they were available in black acetate - zero effort was made to check, I was dismissively told "I'm sure they are" (I had to look myself later to find out these Lunor frames are not offered in black).

My business was clearly not wanted here, so I went somewhere else. I suggest others do the same.

Walked in off the street with a pair of glasses and a pair of lenses I had purchased elsewhere. After the big box optical store had told me there was no way to fit the lenses into the new frames, the Optical Shop expertly popped them in with a smile, and at no cost. Long live small businesses and their impeccable customer service. Absolutely stunning array of frames in there as well. An absolute must if you’re in the area and need some swank specs.

This is I can safely say the best in the world optical shop! It is a serene gorgeous store! Mark is an amazing expert stylist!

They were so helpful! The silicone nose pads on my glasses literally melted off and I went in to inquire if they could replace them. The nice lady efficiently did that and then didn’t take any money. I explained that I’m not a customer, or even from Santa Fe, but she said that was fine and to have a nice trip. Really wonderful people with a beautiful array of eyewear!

My sun glasses lost a screw, Matt helped repair.at no charge. Great selection of unique frames, if I am ever back in Santa Fe will be my go-to.

I went into their shop with a couple of eyeglass problems and they promptly fixed both eyeglasses. All for no charge. That’s totally awesome!

This is the place to go for eyewear, period. I stopped in to get my glasses adjusted, and the optician (Larissa?) fixed them in no time flat even though I did not purchase them here; however, I will for all future needs. Their frames offer something for everyone!

A mind-boggling selection of frames paired with knowledgeable, friendly service. I was already impressed, but when it turned out I was allergic to something in my new frames, the owner met me with graciousness and understanding. They replaced my frames without hesitation. I could not have asked for a better experience.

Mark and Matt are so friendly and good at what they do! They took care of adjusting several pairs of glasses for me and replacing the lenses on one pair. They are fast and thorough. I'll be back anytime I have work to be done on glasses, and highly recommend their shop to others!

This is the best optical store in Santa Fe! I got a pair of glasses here 7 years ago that are still my favorites, and my dad just got a great pair a few weeks ago. The guys who run it are so friendly an helpful, they can fix anything!

Cannot more highly recommend this shop! My glasses snapped down the middle while visiting Santa Fe in an irrepairable way. Matt made me a new pair in 30 minutes flat and gave me a very fair deal. He was so kind and efficient. I will always be super grateful! Lifesaver!

My 80 year old father broke his glasses and did not want to go to the eye doctor to get a new pair. The Optical Shop was able to repair the broken glasses resolving an incredibly stressful situation. They were gracious and kind to work with. Highly recommend!
