Vegan Restaurant Vegos reviews
18We are so fortunate here in Albuquerque to have the wonderful people at Vegos and all of the delicious vegan food they prepare! Their sister restaurant, Nobody Calls Me Chicken, is another favorite of ours. You will have an enjoyable experience no matter what dish you try!
As someone who loves New Mexican and can't eat dairy, Vegos is a lifesaver! I usually order to-go using the website and the food is always fresh and ready promptly.
I love this place - a really broad menu, and all vegan (thought you might not guess it unless you were told.)
This place was an awesome plant-based find. Some real gems on the menu. Everything we ordered was flavorful, delicious, and soo filling.
I got a pleasant surprise when I ordered the Jefe and they offered a lions mane mushroom for the protein instead of jackfruit. It had the perfect amount of heat too, had my nose running, but my taste buds dancing.
The elote was great and my partner's sopapilla was soo good too.
Vegos is a must stop for vegans. When driving cross country, we plan it so we're there before 3 for a Seitan & Tofu Scramble breakfast burrito gone LOCO. SO DELISH!
Very good vegan food at a reasonable price. The food is so good it should appeal to non-vegans too.
Amazing little spot. Albuquerque is a better place to visit because of Vegos.
The sofa fries are downright decedent.
OMG! Such amazing Vegan New Mexican. The first legit Chile Relleno I've been able to enjoy in years. So delicious, try everything!
A transcendent flavor experience from the first exquisite bite to the tearful last. Vegans and omnivores alike are sure to find their newest addiction wrapped in a soft, warm tortilla at Vego's.
P. S. The pastries are bomb too. Totally recommend the crispy, perfectly cinnamon-sugar-crusted churros.
I called ahead and ordered and it was ready within 10 to 15 minutes! I got the tofu enchilada plate with Christmas. I also got the elote because I wasn't sure how filling the enchilada plate might be. I was totally stuffed! Everything was so tasty and the portions are definitely just enough!
I have lunch with my family here for the veggie. The food tastes good and the ingredients is also very good,
I ordered the 3 enchiladas plate that comes with side of brown rice and Pinto beans. The enchiladas alone, I couldn't taste any flavor just the spicy red sauce poured over it. The rice and bean had no flavor at all. Unfortunately I was only able to eat 1 enchilada and threw the rest away.
Now the service, lady in front was very sweet and nice, good customer service and food came fast.
Great food, great people. I haven't had Chile Rellenos since turning vegan over 10 years ago.
Unreal how great this place is. We road trip all over the country and this is by far the best vegan food in U. S.
Ordered the Sandia Burrito and it was delicious. Will be going back to try other items. Very friendly customer service as well.
The loco tostaritto was incredible! Would definitely return. Staff was super helpful with recommendations and it was a cute place.
Had lunch there on a Friday. Nice casual spot for vegan food and they have done a good job of coming up with tasty NM fare. My wife had the Sandia burrito and I had the breakfast burrito. Our only negative was it seemed like it took a while to get our food and the place was crowded but overall a winner and we will come back.
Whatever you get, treat yourself to a side of queso. I had the Sandia burrito - it was HUGE - and a side of fries with queso and a local kombucha they have on tap. All delicious, super friendly staff, and very quick!
