Absolutely love it. I have been coming to OKI for over 30 years and lived there for 10. Every visit I take I will not stay anywhere else.

Really nice, modern rooms. So very clean. Owners were amazing. Almost perfect. Just a bit on the pricey side. Hopefully able to get back and stay again.

Perfect for a quick little getaway with the kids. About half a mile walk (down a beautiful live oak lined road) to public beach access and the pier and restaurants. The rooms were SUPER clean, comfortable, and quiet. Really our room was beautiful, the wood is such a lovely touch and it smelled so good. It's always nice when a place looks EXACTLY like the photos on the listing! Something I REALLY appreciated was the blackout shade on the window! I highly recommend and will be back again!

What a great experience - stayed for over a week, and the owners are phenomenal. They truly care about their guests and their lodge, and are some of the friendliest individuals I've met in my travels. The rooms are clean (as many others have noted), with unique furnishings and finishes (microwave, and a min-fridge/freezer, so you can save the leftover ice cream from the shop down the road). Safe and secure environment, and within walkable distance to the coast, restaurants/pubs, and bakeries!

Super clean, freshly remodeled rooms. The walls are pine and the rooms smell great because of it. It is locally owned and the staff really seem to care about their guests and the property. I will stay here again the next time I’m in town.

Oak Island Inn's rooms are beautiful! They are paneled in beautiful pine, (smells amazing), and I love the decore, down to the adorable light switch plates, and wall hangings, this place is five star for sure! Very clean, I highly recommend it! The family who runs it are just wonderful as well!

Stayed here with my wife for a business trip and I must say that this place is amazing. The room was absolutely beautiful with the wood framing and the fresh scent. The bed was comfortable and the entire place was clean. The attendant was very pleasant and welcoming. Its very close to the beach which was also an amazing place. I would 10/10 recommend and will definitely be returning.

Chose this place on a whim for an overnight stay that was a last minute decision and we couldn’t be more pleased! The staff was extremely friendly and the room and property were very clean! We enjoyed it so much that we went ahead and booked a room to extend a previously planned trip we’re taking in July! I highly recommend!

Customer Service from the moment I called to book until check out was excellent, thanks Dylan. Rooms are super clean & cozy! The pool was sparkling clean. We enjoyed our stay here. Would recommend and stay again.

After looking at places to stay in Oak Island for over a year, we decided to go with the Oak Island Inn, and this was due to all the positive reviews.
We agree with the other guests who mentioned the friendliness of the owners and both the cleanliness of the rooms and the entire facility.
It is convenient to the beach and several good restaurants. It is very quiet at night. Lastly, the price was more reasonable than most inns on North Carolina beaches. We would love to return in the future!

We stayed overnight and it was a very nice place management was super, the beds was very comfortable and so was the pillows. Light notty pine paneling decorative cabin like room, I would most definitely stay again if I ever get in the area. Single cup coffe pot and a mini refrigerator with freezer plus a microwave. It is easy to drive by and miss the drive. Family iwned I believe but the rooms was very clean.

The room was exactly what we needed for a weekend getaway. Only a a short walk (2 blocks) to the beach public access and Oak Island Pier with Koko Cabana restaurant and Ruby's Coffeehouse & Eatery. Also, the Inn is across the street from Shagger Jacks restaurant and Island Jo Coffee & Cafe. The Inn owner and staff were very pleasant as well. They are also pet-friendly which we need because we always travel with our small pup. We will definitely stay here in the future.

Very friendly staff. It was extremely clean & very well kept. Staff was very helpful with any questions I had. I would recommend the Oak Island Inn to everyone. I had a great stay in room 12.

Love it here & stay everytime I'm in the area. The rooms are cute, very nice and clean, the location is great and the staff is beyond awesome ️

It's a cute and cozy. The room is clean and not too pricey. The only thing, if you're a "bigger" person, the bathroom is a little tight. Other than that i recommend staying here.

The motel is quaint and small and the rooms were clean, bed was comfortable and the front desk gave you top notch service.

I had stayed here previously and let me tell you I was treated so nicely the staff was joking and upbeat made me feel really welcome the rooms were adorable and I had the best sleep if I could rate it 10 stars I would

Nice place, the only reason I gave 4stars instead of 5 is no other way to cool a meal other than microwave, didnt see a grilling Area.

Stayed at this wonderful spot in June of this year for the 1st time while on vacation in the area. The whole experience was awesome, the updated room was amazing, a perfect fit for my needs, and the staff was great, and super accommodating. I definitely plan to rebook soon.
