Jan has cut my hair for 2 or 3 years. She always does a good job. She is very kind and considerate. She is friendly and will lift up your day. She cares about her customers and wants to make sure they are pleased with her work. She knows a lot about the hair products, too. She has a cute, clean shop. She is a hard worker. She is a small business owner/operator. Very impressive. I'm always happy to see Jan.

My daughter and I had not had our hair done in more than a year when a loved one died. We wanted to celebrate his life looking our very best. Jan worked us into her tight schedule and did a perfect job for both of us. She is kind and professional and gifted as a hair stylist. Her salon is super clean and she is vigilant at keeping her clients safe during this pandemic. I highly recommend Jan.

This is hands down THE CLEANEST salon I have EVER been in! I started going here in January 2020, when my damaged color-treated hair needed a change. Thanks to the salon’s thorough cleaning & mask protocol, I have absolutely ZERO CONCERNS about salon health safety. (This is a huge statement for me to be able to make because the overall COVID pandemic situation has been extremely stressful for me.) For those who might be unfamiliar with the address, “Hair By Jan” is a private one-chair salon located in a newer construction multi-office strip center. Prices are extremely reasonable. Parking is right up front. Jan is the owner. She has a very pleasant “chair-side” manner & is talented, professional & kind. The shop’s ventilation system is self-contained & the interior does not open into the businesses on either side. It is by appointment only. Jan gives ample time for each customer because I have never had to wait on her to finish-up with someone else, unlike experiences with multiple places in the past. In my opinion, it is health-wise much safer than any other place I go to. I like the automatic text reminders / confirmations that I receive several days ahead of each appointment. She is certified by the Brazilian Blowout company to be allowed to purchase their authentic product & is listed on their website. I am BEYOND PLEASED with the transformation she has achieved for me. I look forward to my standing appointments for cuts, style, color, highlights & Brazilian blow-out services. Jan definitely delivers the goods!

Jan was great; I was really pleased with her shop and her professionalism UNTIL I dared to say her work was not perfect. Rather than offering to fix my uneven sides, she “fired me”. You can bet I “fired her” right back.

Jan is always very professional. She is up to date on coloring and cutting techniques. She also had a lot of patience with my elderly parents. I have referred her to several people.

Didn’t know this existed as I’ve been a customer for 2 years and truly appreciate the great service and expertise Jan provides. I recommend her to all my friends. She knows her stuff.
