They are a big scam, I had water leaking from the roof and i call Rhode Island Restoration to do the work, it was the worst mistake of my life they end up doing more damage just to charge the insurance more money, the insurance didn't pay, now they want me to pay.now about the damage they made.
I had to pay $5500 to repair all the damage they did.

Mike helped us every step of the way. He was here quickly after being called when our bathroom flooded. He was kind and very knowledgeable. He walked us through and explained each step of the process which made our tragedy not seem so overwhelming.

RI Restoration helped us get our finished basement dry before hardly any damage could set in.
After a wild rain storm where half of the state was flooded, RI Restoration returned my call and had workers out to our house within hours to start pumping out our basement in the middle of the night.
Although we had to wait for the ground water level to subside before any drying could take place, they pumped out my basement 3+ times which helped keep the water in check.
They left multiple commercial dehumidifiers and air movers for an entire week. We used the air movers to dry under our vinyl flooring thoroughly. Our basement is probably dryer now than it was before.
The price isn't cheap for emergency remediation, but it was less than or equal to everyone else I called, and it was well worth the money to salvage 95% of our finished basement as home owners insurance doesn't cover foundation flooding.
I went with RI Restoration as they were the fastest ones to get trucks out to my house, but I am happy I ended up with them.

I just called them in a panic due to water in my basement from a current storm. Instead of coming out to help, the guy says to me on the phone “there’s nothing we can do right now and it’s going to be about $5,000 tomorrow for cleanup, is that ok” NO ITS NOT. How about come over and assess the situation and help me prevent further damage?

I contracted RI Restoration to remediate a problem in my home that needed to be taken care of prior to sale. Shawn and his employees responded in a timely manner and professionally remediated the problem. A report was provided that documented the remediation. We could not be more pleased with the service they provided. Highly recommended

Very happy to have used their services. Turn around time for my issue was a little less than a month. All reps had "cold knowledge" of their services, with immediate answers when queried.

All team members were respectful and up to date on the objectives and current task and there was never a need to update individual team leaders on what was going on.

The work done at my home for water damage mitigation and mold remediation was very professional, and I am happy with the settlement amount procured from the insurance company.

I cannot support, however, the predatory practices of their adjunct company, Performance Adjustment, the management team, or the quality of their work as "public adjustor. "

Rhode Island Restoration is fine insofar as its mitigation efforts go, but when the crew arrives on site DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING TO ACCEPT THEM AS PUBLIC ADJUSTOR!

What does that mean? Public adjustor? It means they want to take 10% of any settlement monies while "advocating" on your behalf with your insurance company. DO NOT DO THIS. Do not allow them to intervene. Any additional monies they might win are not worth the delay and their disregard once they have your signature.

Caveat emptor! Buyer beware - you are in a vulnerable moment when your home is damaged by water, fire, smoke or mold, and Rhode Island Restoration / Performance Adjusting is NOT your best advocate.

Again DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO ACT AS PUBLIC ADJUSTOR!

SEE BELOW: Rhode Island Restoration's response is disingenuous at best. The two entities share an owner and it will be Rhode Island Restoration that asks if you want to sign the form allowing Performance Adjusting to become your "public adjustor. " Do not let them to convince you to do this.

I have an Ongoing project, but my first impression to my latest has been favorable! From Customer Service to all members of each team, all have been extremely respectful and thorough. I feel like I am in great hands!

Rhode Island Restoration handled the installation of a new roof on our home. They were amazing from beginning to end. They have a great understanding of what they do and we’re able to answer each question that came up. I can’t thank them enough for helping us through this process.

We recently experienced flooding with all the recent rain. A friend of mine told my wife and I to call RI restoration and had nothing but high praise for them. Needless to say we did call and they surpassed all expectations. Everyone associated with the company was courteous and professional. If anything should ever happen again they will be the first number I call.

When an emergency arises an immediate response is always necessary. Rhode Island Restoration was at my house within hours of disaster.

On the night of September 11,2023, my basement was overcome with nearly six inches of water. The carpets, walls, and my belongings were completely saturated and destroyed. Knowing that many community members were facing the same emergency, I was fearful that I would just be a number on a long list of people waiting to have their basement bailed out and remediated.

Nearing midnight, I was able to get a hold of David Such. David assured me that Rhode Island Restoration would be at my house with their remediation equipment no later than 8: 30 in the morning.

As promised, at 8: 30AM on September 12,2023, Rhode Island Restoration was at my house removing damaged property and putting equipment in place to mitigate the development of mold.

David and his team were incredibly responsive and accommodating during the entire process.

While there may be other restoration/remediation companies throughout Rhode Island, none of the ones I’ve personally dealt with over the years were more responsive or professional than Rhode Island Restoration.
