Folly Field Beach reviews
8For an SC beach, pretty nice. Really pretty at night and in foggy mornings. No restrooms or amenities close though.
Pretty nice public beach access. The parking pay device was messed up. It would not recognize any credit card and the bill acceptor was not working luckily we had some coins and it worked.
Small parking lot but very nice and close to the beach if you can get a spot. Long boardwalk made it easy to pull a cart. Definitely little secluded.
There is another area to enter the beach and the parking meter was down so free parking was great.
This is one of the cleanest white sandy beach. Not too crowded and a very decent crowd. The waves weren’t terrible and the weather was so perfect on the beach. Nice breeze, not too hot and not too cold. One of the best beaches in the country for sure.
Very nice and clean. Lots of tiny little crabs and critters. Tons and tons of dead jelly fish that looked like they had been eaten. It's was a little crowded but overall we had fun!
Very clean and well maintained beach. It’s quite wide, flat and very easy bike, run or walk on. Sunrises are great! There are wide, grassy sand dunes that separate the resorts and homes from the beach.
Great access. Don’t tell everyone keep the beach. Seriously a good place to beach for the day.
So my niece asked me to bring her back some souvenir from the Atlantic Ocean. So I got some ocean water in a plastic bottle and labeled it so not to drink by accident. While there noticed a lot of jellyfish on the shore and sand. My sister sent me an article about this that this happens yearly it seems. It was kind of cool to see them even though maybe dead or dying. They to me look like a little alien form with a membrane. Beach as always was beautiful and they had some chairs set up to sit in. Good place to go. A lot of beach walkers. Seen on one of the poster boards that sea turtles like to bury their eggs around there as well til hatching and got new babies trying to make it to water. That would be cool to see as well.
