During my initial intake I was put at ease by his level of experience and passion - I knew that I had found someone who was willing to fight for me.

I understand I am the enemy, but trying to work with this office is a frustrating experience. Being told we are not going to help you as we are not your lawyer is a bit much when asking for dates for mediation that they said they would set or when I should expect court ordered documents to be sent.

Reached an agreement with my Ex and ORS won't honor it because it was not made into a court order as there office stated "We didn't know ORS was involved"

However they are now working on it.

Kelly Peterson is by far the worst attorney we have dealt with. We have been dealing with a very complicated custody battle with my husband's ex wife and hired Kelly when our family attorney was unavailable for the dates of the hearing. Kelly took a $1500 evergreen retainer over the phone with the stated understanding that we would need to replenish the $1500 at the end of each month or his services would cease and desist. After 1 week and the first hearing, when he came unprepared and unfamiliar with the emails we sent containing the information he requested, we knew we had to part ways with him as soon as possible. Also, he went into a negotiation with the GAL attempting to offer terms or a deal on my husband's behalf which we had no knowledge of until afterwards. He seemed visibly frustrated and suggested that my husband should just avoid going to the following hearing. Now his automated system is trying to double bill me for services we're already paid for in advance. If anyone else is having a similar problem, we'd love to hear about it, maybe we can compare notes.:)
