Our stay couldn’t have been more delightful. From the warm welcome, clean and comforting accommodation, and lovingly made breakfast, we felt very cared for at this inn. The beautiful scenery and decor topped it all off! Thank you Joette-Marie, we will definitely be visiting again!

What a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Thoroughly and with love prepared homemade breakfast. Humble and kind hosts that make you feel welcome from the first moment. Breathtaking night skys. All in all: highly recommended!

Clean rooms except for jets on tub which were filthy. Big drop in water pressure if in shower and someone else uses water in the building. Nice bed. One site said they were kings, but it was a queen. Old TV with VCR but you shouldn't be there for TV. Didn't go to breakfast because it was a $10/adult charge for granola and fruit. We paid $159 for the night, with discount. Normal is $200+. Escalante garlicky closes around 7pm. There is a grill at SCI but has weird hours and days and wasn't open when we were there due to Covid. We got in late 630 and no one was there to check us in. That was mentioned in the website. Not a bad place.

Incredible B and B in Escalante! Wonderful host full of great stories and information! We stayed in the Anasazi and The Desert Rose rooms. They were charming and so clean. Probably the softest sheets we had ever slept on. Breakfast was so tasty! 10/10 recommend staying here on your Utah adventure!

This inn is inn-credible. We stayed here 3 nights in late June. The inn is beautiful, the property is peaceful, and the rooms are very comfortable and lovingly decorated with furniture and artwork from local artists. There aren't fridges in the rooms but there is everything you might need in the kitchen downstairs.a fridge, ice, coffee/tea, wine glasses, a water dispenser, etc. The breakfast was different each day and delicious. This was our base for exploring the slot canyons - we'd leave early in the morning to beat the heat and looked forward to coming back here in the evening to shower and relax on the balcony and take in the views. The restaurant was closed for renovations but there were plenty of places to eat in town. We were sad to leave. 3 days was not enough.

The Inn is beautiful and peaceful and easy to find from the Highway. Our room (Slickrock) was small but clean and the bed was comfortable. However the real highlight was breakfast cooked with love and served by Candy.

I wish I could give 10 stars. I can't say enough good things about this place. Myself and 3 friends did a mini road trip across Utah to see the parks, and we stopped here for 1 night to hike Calf Creek. We could have stayed all week. Amazing property, clean, comfortable, amazing sheets, breakfast was incredible and the staff was so friendly. The owner is a sweetheart and this place is a gem.

It's only about 2 miles from "downtown" Escalante where there are a couple gas stations, restaurants and stores.

This place is a must stay on your Utah travels!

We stayed here five days and split our stay between the Moonrise Suite and the Dance Hall Rock room. The Moonrise Suite was my favorite. It's on the edge of the property so it feels like you're on your own. It's great to lie in bed and look out the window at the sunrise and the view. At first we couldn't find the cats that were mentioned in other reviews (one of the reasons we booked lol), but they found us if we hung out outside at night.

While we had a semi-high-clearance SUV, we weren't up for being jostled for hours in a rental, so we couldn't do many of the fun slot canyon trips nearby. Instead we did Bryce Canyon one afternoon (1 hr drive), Capitol Reef (get there early for the pies), stayed on the property at least one full day, Dixie Forest, and my favorite was going to Boulder and doing the (paved) Burr Trail Road.

We stayed in the Moonrise Apartment for our elopement weekend and it was so perfect! Quiet and serene with unreal sunrises as the cattle (longhorns!) chomped on grass in their pasture. We didn't get to partake in breakfast because of our busy weekend but we heard the breakfasts are a delight! We will definitely be coming back!

Sunrise from our room. Drive down a gravel road into a canyon to find this amazing retreat. We stayed in Moonrise for a serene, luxurious, sleep. Complete with stargazing without any light pollution. Check in was simple, with our key and instructions waiting for us. We signed up for our preferred breakfast time. Then in the morning we were treated like family who had been away for a while, offered more than a full breakfast, on various stages. They even accommodated vegan and gluten free with multiple offerings. A more scenic place I can't imagine. We want to plan a trip back to stay here, and bring a 4WD vehicle to explore Escalante.
