As other reviews prove, whoever answers the phone should not be in any type of customer service. Very rude.

Owner has a very bad temper and is an outright criminal. Taking advantage of people who have fallen on hard times is a special kind of evil. Vermont Coin and Jewelry should get all the business. Try both before you buy or sell and discover the truth for yourself.

Owner is a thief and a bully. Shop around and find out for yourself. Would give zero stars if I could.

I came in with my eleven-year-old son who is a coin collector, who thought he had found a double-die penny. John was so incredibly patient and generous with my son. He explained the features of the penny to my son, why the penny he found was a plating error instead of a double-die, and even gave him some coin books. We were blown away by his patience and kindness- and when my kiddo eventually finds a rare penny to sell, we’ll be back!

John is the only place you need for honest evaluation and prompt response. He assisted my sister and me with great integrity. No need to leave the area while Martin’s is here.

I would highly recommend this business if you want to monetize your coins and jewelry. John is a really nice man, pleasure to talk to and is super knowledgeable. It's hard to trust someone after knowing them for just a few minutes but he definitely exudes trust. I would definitely go back!

We went to Martins Coin and Jewelry AFTER going to Vermont Coin and Jewelry and sold a 1884 3 cent nickel for $3200 after being offered $200 from Vermont Coin and Jewelry. Take it from me John Martin is an honest dealer and tells you what things are worth. It’s up to you to decide to sell or not. We sold the coin as well as other valuable coins and jewelry and were extremely happy with our transaction from start to finish. Go see HIM if you want a fair deal.
