Pizzeria Verità reviews
19Racism at its peak, being a brown man out there with my girlfriend who’s apparently white they literally racially profiled me, I mean I get the country vibes but the bartender was immensely rude and unprofessional. I do not recommend it.
We ordered delivery of a pepperoni pizza and a Cesare salad.
The pizza crust was overworked and extremely tough and chewy and the sauce had little flavor. If it wasn't for the pepperoni, there wouldn't have been any flavor.
The salad was nothing but lettuce, two anchovies, and two tiny pieces of focaccia.
This was a very expensive lesson to learn that such a place that was listed as one of the best pizzas in Burlington was pretty much hype.
We are supposed to get a refund of the order but it can't be processed until tomorrow for some reason. Weird that, but we'll see.
The food was absolutely delicious! We ordered a Moscow mule, red wine, cheese board and two pizzas. I stepped away from the bar to inform a waitress it was my girlfriends birthday. For dessert we had been brought a cannoli with a candle. Bartenders had been very friendly.
The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because we had been told on the phone that the restaurant was fully booked. The patio was first come first serve as well as the bar. By the time we paid, we noticed the floor was half empty but overheard that since the staff is short of staff they didn't want to seat the tables. Would of been nice to still be given a table which could of made the experience better.
I ate here last week for my daughter's birthday. I enjoyed one of the best gluten-free pizzas I have ever had and I will return. Service was great. My only complaint is it was so noisy, it impeded normal conversations.
We had the margherita pizzas for dinner and the Nutella pizza for dessert. The margherita pizza was a traditional doughy pizza. The tomato sauce was nice and fresh tasting. The Nutella pizza was cooked very well and nice and crispy edges, loaded with a lot of Nutella! No complaints here, I love Nutella. Overall nice little pizza spot, romantic spot for a dinner date.
Outstanding food and service. Brittany has created a wonderful atmosphere for dining in and takeout.
Delicious and authentic Italian cuisine. The salads are big enough to share. Get the antipasti, you won't regret it.
All the reviews are spot on. Pizza is tasty and there are a lot of interesting variations. I highly recommend the meatballs they too were very tasty with a great sauce. And we polished it off with some tiramisu which was not your typical but still very tasty. Special touch is the dried flowers in the bathroom and the friendly wonderful people.
Some really good pizza in Burlington. The service was great as our waitress was friendly and they got the pizza out to us very fast. A Neapolitan style pizza with house made mozzarella and a doughy crust. Personally, I like the cheese to cover the entire slice rather than just a few spots, but as a fan of thick crust pizza I thought it was fantastic. I got the Capricciosa which was quite tasty. Good location in Burlington, making it easy to walk around and explore.
We are visiting from DC and heard rave reviews of this place - and it did not disappoint! The cheese board, salad, and pizza were so good, cocktails were super inventive and delicious (we had one involving mustard and soy sauce that was SO GOOD). We ate outside and the service was excellent. This was our favorite AND least expensive dinners while in Burlington.
Got a Marg pizza here while in Burlington, visiting from Buffalo.
I wish we had a neapolitan pizza this good in my hometown. We have one place that comes close, but nothing like this.
Always an amazing experience every time we go. Amazing food, amazing service. Favorite place to go to treat myself and my girlfriend in Vermont.
Every bite was delicious! The servers were kind and knowledgeable. I would recommend any of the pizzas but was blown away by the mais.
Had an AWESOME time at this Neapolitan pizza shop - we cane during dinner rush and while they didn’t have any available tables, we got seated at the pizza bar and couldn’t have been any happier with the circumstances! Not only did we love our pizzas, but got to watch the pros do their thing the entire time. Staff was super friendly and chatted us up while going about their pizza making. Pizza Bianca was super flavorful and the Ring of Fire was an awesome spicy upgrade of the usual marg pizza! I’ll be back in town in about 10 days and can’t wait to dine here again!
Stopped in for a quick meal. What a great experience all around! Friendly and knowledgeable host, bartending, and wait staff. Creative cocktail menu and great beer selection. The meatball appetizer with freshly baked focaccia and margherita pizza were delicious. Will definitely be back to try some of the more creative menu offerings.
My wife is from Bolzano, Italy and I lived there for 12 years. Every time we eat at Verita it feels like we are right back there.it is the real deal! Definitely pricey compared to what we are used to paying when back in Italy, but definitely worth it every once in a while, to give us that feeling of home!
Amazing food and drinks. Can be slightly noisy during peak times. Moody lighting and an upscale feel. If you can fit it, try the tiramisu, it's amazing.
We had a long day and wanted to grab a pizza and bring it back to our hotel. We thought we’d have a drink while we waited for the pizza. The place was packed and there was clearly no place for to sit but the hostess very sweetly made a place for us at the chairs meant for waiting for your table. She brought our drinks and the pizza was ready quickly. It was really good pizza and, if we hadn’t been so tired, we’d have enjoyed sitting and eating. A very warm and welcoming restaurant with a friendly staff and a great pizza!
Great food and great environment. On our last visit, we saw people in tuxedos and people in jeans and t-shirts. Everyone enjoys Pizzeria Verita. There is a pepperoni with optional hot honey that is fantastic. Other interesting pizzas we tried are Mais (with corn) and the Ring of Fire.
