Arbor Park of Alexandria

One of the best experience overall of moving in to a new place! I love the upgrades, a lot of extra space in the apartment, easy to find parking at any time of day, it is really quiet even with neighbors with kids I love the view I have on my balcony.

The area is perfect as well as it is right in the heart of everything and easy to get to and from everything in DC and then if you need to work outside of the city you’re in the perfect spot to get on the interstate and just go! This is a very central location for shopping and food and local spots!

Cable company is COX cable they are great and power is Dominion Power and they have been around for years in Virginia and are very dependable! I love the UDR app as well it makes paying for rent easy and submitting work order request simple and really easy!

I’m not even a resident here but was trying to become one. They scheduled an appointment at 1: 30, I got there at 1: 30 and let them know I was there. Girl who was working there told me that my appointment had been cancelled. NO ONE GAVE ME A CALL TO AT LEAST LET ME KNOW. Instead I had to waste my time. So they were super inconsiderate about my time and gas that I had to waste just for absolutely nothing. Completely unprofessional. And I will gladly spread the word with how this leasing office works. Trust me, if I could give no stars. It’s exactly what I would do. Ridiculous.

I moved to Arbor Park last year and while there were many times I was displeased with the customer service provided by the leasing office, I let it be. I’m now coming to the end of my lease and wanted to stay at Arbor Park, but move to a smaller apartment so I called the office to discuss what I needed to do. In short, though I’ve been at Arbor Park this whole time, I’m choosing to stay to the end of my lease and then transfer to another apartment, I was told that in addition to paying all the fees that a new resident pays (admin, application, etc), I also have to pay a $750 fee to transfer to a different apartment. Essentially, it would less expensive for me to go to a different apartment complex than stay at Arbor Park? Do they not want people to stay? It makes no sense that someone coming in to Arbor Park pays less than I will pay to stay at Arbor Park. The woman I was speaking to seemed to contradict herself a few times, so I asked to speak to her manager and she then proceeded to put me on hold for one hour and 20 minutes - I screenshot this call. During this entire time I was on hold, no one came to check or tell me why it was taking so long, absolutely nothing. I ended hanging up because it seemed like they completely forgot. There was no follow up or anything. I read through my lease multiple times to see why I would be charged $750 if I wanted to move to a different apartment after finishing my lease because this woman rudely said multiple times that if it didn’t make sense to just look at my lease contract. I have yet to find anything regarding this. Needless to say, based on this poor experience, I will not be staying at Arbor Park.

They’re homes are nice but my only complaint is there is no basketball court all other apartment homes have one

Horrible place. There are mice, roaches. The leasing office are not helpful and they don't care. I don't recommend anyone to move their from the experience i lived in that Townhouse for months.

Read this before you rent a townhome especially in Rouge Court area of the community. I have been living here for 16 month, within two weeks of moving in I noticed mice activities, since then, I have submitted over 50 service requests after all visit no success, I discussed the issue with the management was to transfer me but charging me a transfer fee. Despite of cleaning my home every day and deep cleaning every weekend my home has become felty. I am sit I see mice just walking around me, I am on my bed and I see mice just wandering around with even being scared. The smell coming out of havc room is unbearable, I have sealed the door with plastic (see the pictures). There is no way the let you vacate if you face similar situation. Long story short. I made a bad decision and I am paying for it but you can make the right choice finding a better place.

Property is clean and quiet, $10 for visitor parking sucks though but overall I have no complaints. One of my highlights in 2020.

I referred a friend to move into Arbor park he has not even move in yet.still have 2 weeks before he moves in.the leasing office is absolutely refusing to give me my referral program.he hasn't even moved in yet.there was missed understanding and application respect to leasing person verbally telling her I referred my friend now they still refusing to give me my referral bonus.
Very shady place.very disappointing.

They don’t care about anything or anyone other than their money. All they see is money and they don’t help you nor want to. Disappointment of a community really. They have so many fees for literally anything. Nothing is included you pay everything separately. They are a pain when you want to move out and only reach out to you when they want their money. I have sent an email and called many times sometimes they phone isn’t working and I have yet to receive a response on the email. I moved out and we had to pay extra. After I moved out I got a package delivered there and the office isn’t being helpful in trying to help me get MY package back. It’s so expensive to live there and there are fees on top of everything that you have to pay. Honestly not professional at all.

Please stay away from this place! This is company is terrible. My last experience because I’m going to move with all family. On Thursday July 2nd I got towed my car from here and I pay $160 to A-1 Towing of Alexandria VA. July 3rd. I went to get a parking pass and the machine was not working. There were ten people waiting for help, and there is not people to contact from this company. We all call the A-1 Towing and we were told that they didn’t received any notice from this Arbor Park Appartments. So the security guy stopped by and he couldn’t do anything about it. Other people call again 40 minutes later we called A-Towing of Alexandria and they said that they were going to tow because they didn’t receive any notice.so stressful!

I lived there for only a few months until I faulted on the lease just to get the heck out! The staff was very unhelpful and for almost $2000 a month it was ridiculous! The process to move in was super nice but it’s all just a trap! Stay away from this place please! The parking situation was insane, you paid so much money to have to park blocks away, and for what? !? I wish I could give this place 0 stars. They never kept anybody up to date on what was happening and the other residents were so fed up with the complex! 0/10 wouldn’t ever come near this place again.

I lived here for 2 and half years, and I love the community but y’all have to know when u move out they gonna charge u thousands of dollars for unknown damages! Guys I recommend you not to move in to this appartment. They don’t ask u for deposit so u don’t have to worry bout nothing then after the lease is over they charge u a lot of money I mean it!

I’m a current resident, I moved with out reading the reviews. They tell you, you can pay for parking but there is no where to park after 7: 30 like the spots are filled up, nothing comes included in the rent, so you pay for parking, for trash, for reserved, for water, for light. I feel like I’m regretting moving to this apartment I asked for a exterminator but I don’t even think they did it also, I moved in around June and I already feel like this it’s been 1 month moral is parking is the worst and it’s just not worth it here

The walls are paper thin, we have made multiple complaints about noise and nothing has changed. Do yourself a favor and get the top floor or move somewhere else. We can hear the people above us, beside us, and under us!

Amazing place to live. Management is helpful. Only thing that I want leasing office guys to change is their attitudes, i mean to be friendly and courteous.

Visitors parking is ridiculous. Reserved parking should be for everyone paying a lease. Office staff that never compromises and ensures you are paying for unnecessary items, like daily visitor parking passes, replacement carpet upon move out even though it wasn’t new when you moved in, and Orkin bug spray. Just a few examples. Not to mention the boxes stollen off of our porch as the location isn’t great!

Arbor park is a great place to live. The administration is awesome and very responsive, maintenance and grounds crew are quick and do things right the first time. The apartments themselves are great too, especially for the price in this area. Highly recommend this place, we've lived here for 2 years but had to move based on location.

Poor amenities. Went to the pool with two kids. Doesnot maintain their pools rather ask the residents to leave. Today in the kids pool a minor repair which have taken 5 minutes make them close the pool and i have to forcefully remove my kids. Deapite the highest rent, this is all you get. Very dissapointed

I've been living here for the past two years, and I must say that I love this apartment complex. It's very safe, their customer service is outstanding, and their maintenance team promptly take care of any issues that you might have within your apartment in a timely manner.

My husband & I have been here for almost a year and love it! Edward was incredible throughout the entire process. He never pushed us to sign a lease but truly allowed us to be comfortable and was transparent with us through each step. We love our place and are glad we did a 13 month lease!
