Pinnacle Dermatology - Woodbridge (Hedgewood)

Office Staff was quick friendly and efficient. Dr. T is super friendly and knowledgeable and very welcoming, definitely where I would recommend for anyone in need of dermatology care.

Very pleased with the work performed on me by Pinnacle Dermatology. Extremely professional and provided detailed explanation of what they were doing & why.

The doctor seemed fine. But, don't bother calling to ask for a refill. The phone is never answered. You leave a voicemail, which is never returned. If you actually want any kind of customer service, go to a different practice.

Spouse had an appointment scheduled and gave advance notice that they could not attend as they were sick with COVID. No one acknowledged his message. No one answered phones. We still can't get ahold of anyone as they just hide behind an answering service. Somehow, they do have the capacity and time to bill him for the appointment. Highly unprofessional and frustrating.

Doctor T was great. He has great energy and was inviting. I will be back in the future for more treatments!

Great experience! Short wait time, and I felt Dr. Tjahjono took his time and was very thorough. Very friendly too!

Called to make an appointment on Monday (the call center scheduled the appointment, which they are a 1 star as well as this is the 2nd time they have completely screwed with my appointment). I have eczema and extreme psoriasis flare up which I get steroids shot for which has me in so much pain. I was scheduled for a 7AM on Wednesday at this location (25 minutes from me; plus it is snowing with black ice outside). I get to the location and the front desk woman with short hair says “I don’t know who scheduled you but when I came in this morning I saw your appointment and we don’t take your insurance. Just Fredericksburg and Centreville. I’m sorry”. My first visit was at a Warrenton location with no issues of my insurance.

I’m so upset with how they schedule things and deal with their patients after this visit. If you saw my appointment this morning when you got in, why did you not attempt to call or leave a voicemail or email so I didn’t waste the hour+ commute and a sad drive home!? Why not try to help me find another way. It is simply 1 shot that takes all of 2 seconds to do. I’m not asking for a diagnosis, advice, shoot I’m not even asking for tou to speak to me. I don’t even need to get on a treatment table ot anything for this. It takes NO time or effort and I was declined all over “insurance” which is just because you’re picky about payment?

The fact I was turned away over something as small as insurance which clearly isn’t that big of an issue when 3 other locations accept it is insane. For something as small as a shot that takes 0 time out of your day & does not effect you or your business to the point to turn away a patient in need and was incorrectly scheduled.

After this visit, I will never return back to a Pinnacle Dermatology but I have reached out to a supervisor and am HIGHLY anticipating and expecting some sort of accommodation for the hot mess this establishment has caused.

Very, very disappointed.

Edit: Reading the other poor reviews and the sarcasm and lack of compassion in this office’s response to reasonable/understandable negative reviews is disgusting. Shame!

Excellent staff—professional and friendly. Offered clear and comprehensible answers to questions and gave a sense of assurance in the procedures done and treatments/medications prescribed. Highly recommended.

The entire staff was welcoming and very professional. The office was neat and well organized.

My first visit, but I will seek out a more seasoned practitioner rather than returning to Pinnacle.

I’ve been treating a skin condition for about 25 years. The oral treatment is easier to comply with than the topical treatment. Given the pervasiveness of the current outbreak, I requested the oral medication as it could take an hour a week, and with assistance, for weeks to get results from the topical. The doctor refused and prescribed the topical, which was not wrong, but they failed to account for low compliance and therefore the treatment has a low likelihood of success.

Took my daughter to be seen due to a rash that covered her front and back sides. Her pediatrician had already diagnosed her with Pityriasis rosea but I wanted a second opinion as my daughter was covered in spots and there was no treatment or known cause. This young man walked in, while my daughter was fully clothed and on the other side of the room, and said “oh it looks to be clearing up! “ I asked what is clearing up? He said her rash. I asked if he would like to see her rash, and lifted my daughter’s shirt. He then takes a big magnifying glass and for a split second looks at it and then agrees with the pediatrician diagnosis. Didn’t even look for or ask about the “herald patch”. Which apparently helps determine the diagnosis. This was on her lower back which he never looked at. Then had us on our way. This young man was in an out in less than 5 minutes. The nice woman at the front desk had commented they had 65 patients to see today.well no wonder we got shooed out quickly. It turns out this is what my daughter had.for over 3 months and continued to spread to her neck/face and down her legs. But we drove 2.5 hours one way and did not feel at all confident that this young man knew what he was doing or saying.

Needless to say I wasn’t impressed and won’t be returning.

I’m a new patient at Pinnacle Dermatology as of 12/19/23, Tuesday. I was very pleased with my first experience. I saw where Dr. Tjahjono, showed great concern, professionalism, great bedside manners, very pleasant personality, and knowledgeable of his expertise towards his patients. This was all of what I experienced with my 1st visit today. The receptionist was very pleasant, professional and polite when I entered into the office for my appointment this morning. The nurse (I can’t remember her name), but I had an excellent experience with her as well. This office really made me feel comfortable to be there, which means a lot to me and others I’m sure. I highly recommend Pinnacle Dermatology! I’m so appreciative of the exceptional experience I received today as the qualities I mentioned before are very hard to find anymore. Thank you

Very poor service. I felt rushed and not listened to. My issues remains unaddressed and still dealing with it.
