I love this practice. The staff is efficient as well as kind, patient and understanding. They take the time to answer your questions and I never feel rushed.

Excellent people skills from everyone in the office! I called and reported the symptoms I was experiencing, and what the results from the ER visit showed, and the office person got me in Monday morning with Dr Gen, the first available day he was back in the office. In the office he did am EKG which was abnormal, found I I had a heart murmur, scheduled an MRI of my brain to look fr more aneurysms, other than the one that showed up on my chest CT when I went to the hospital ER on Tuesday of last week. Dr Gen really made me feel cared for, and was very clear about what was going to happen during all the upcoming tests.

Awesome crew of physicians and staff. Can’t say enough about them. Dr. Gen saved my life by finding blockages in veins. Promptly ordered by pass surgery. Friendly staff.

Horrible. They move at a snails pace for scheduling any tests the Cardiologist requests. I am on day 16 and still waiting for a stress test and echocardiogram to be scheduled by this practice. They rather have me die from a heart attack than practice preventative care. I understand securing but what happened to helping save lives. So sad.

A 6-mt check up was made with Dr. Gen who I like. However, Samuel Meyers, PA, came in. He was very nice, thorough, answered all my questions & looked up info for me. I'll be happy to see Samuel again at my next 6-mt check up.

Excellent patient care. Alyssa is always so patient, thorough, and kind to my Dad. We really appreciate Dr Gen and his team!

Everyone, frpm the front desk check-in, to the techs in the back, to Dr Gen, was absolutely accommodating, professional, and personable. As much as it is a doctor's appoitment, it is a very pleasant experience. I would recommend Dr Gen's practice to anyone, without hesitation.

I would strongly discourage anyone from going to this practice, but particularly anyone of a marginalized group. I was treated as if I was an anxious woman and not a serious patient. I had to repeatedly ask for a tilt test and a holter monitor despite those being the first tests usually taken for my presenting symptoms. When my holter monitor came back with the symptoms I had been describing Dr. Gen basically said “you were right” but never apologized for not believing, neglecting, or how he treated me. Then he told me there was no solution or diagnosis for my symptoms and that I would have to learn to live with them. In my experience with him, he did not show empathy or diligence, which is important to me in a provider. Dr. Mark East who is near by took me seriously from the jump, ordered the tests I needed and helped me get back to baseline. I’d recommend his practice instead.

Amendment to original review: To add insult to injury, TPMG billed me a $150.00 no show fee. I showed up for my appointment and I was not informed at that time that I would be charged a no show fee. I have contacted the office numerous times and left messages to speak with the office manager to discuss this issue. However, the office manager has not returned my call. This is a shady unprofessional way to conduct business.

I was scheduled for an echocardiogram at this facility. Because I got lost, I was 15 minutes late. The receptionist told me that I would have to reschedule because they have a policy that anyone more than 15 minutes late has to reschedule. I stated that I was exactly 15 minutes late. She said that I was 17 minutes late by her clock. I requested that she ask the technician if I was too late. Instead of going to ask the technician, she stood there listening to employees talk and talk to one of her co-workers. Then, before going to talk to the technician she came to ask me why I was late. Therefore, by the time she she got to the technician I was probably 25 minutes late. I am not excusing my tardiness, the receptionist was was unprofessional, and exhibited an nonchalant attitude.

Don’t go here. Don’t even put in a referral here look elsewhere. If something is wrong with you and you need help go somewhere else that will actually help.
Seriously I’m trying to save you so much wasted time. I met with the doctor he only was in the room with me for literally 2 minutes didn’t address the ekg results said I need more testing said something was wrong or whatever. I scheduled for the testing made all the arrangements for me to be able to make it to this appintoment. And then 2 hours before I’m told the appointment is canceled the tech is ill.firstly why do y’all only have 1 tech in your facility. That was frustrating I was told The supervisor will call me and reschedule and discuss things. Im never ever called I called them and again I’m assured the supervisor will call me that week. By the end of the week I hear from nobody so I call again. And end up able to just reschedule. I reschedule.the app day comes up literally 1 hour before my appointment as I’m already on my way I’m told the appointment has to be cancelled again. Cuz something up with the technician but didn’t specify. Told the suspervsior will call me to reschedule. Mind you I’ve been waiting what now to have this testing done 1 month and a 1/2? If it was life and death they’d be the reasoning for death.

09/07/2023: The wonderful radiology scheduler from the hospital called me back to inform me that she had talked to my insurance company and they re-sent the peer-to-peer request. She then called the office both yesterday and today but hadn't heard back from TPMG Cardiovascular Associates (she went above and beyond her job duties, actually). Unfortunately, she had to cancel the appointment because we are too close with no contact or approval.

09/06/2023: Updated review: Never heard from the practice manager, however, someone did leave a message about my review in mid-August. Ms Naldoza is kind and easy too talk to in person - much of the office staff is. However, they do not respond to messages or - seemingly - answer phones, or return calls. Ms. Naldoza ordered a CT because my breathlessness hasn't resolved. My insurance company wanted more information and requested that. I sent them a message about this as well, when I was informed, in addition to concerns over my medication side effects. I have recirved no response. Today the hospital called to tell me my CT was denied and the scheduler said she would call the office to see what we could do and call me right back - I'm assuming she is having the same problem with calls because it has been hours. In the meantime we contacted our insurance who informed us they reached out for a peer to peer with no response (this has been over a course of 3 weeks - maybe more). At this point- I think I've been more than fair and I'm quite outdone.

Currently, I am on the fence about this rating. Generally, the staff is at least polite. I have had appointments where I felt valued and cared about, but I've also been treated with dismissiveness several times (Including by the Dr.when discussing relevant and important medical history prior to a procedure which did not go smoothly for me as a result). Waiting for testing takes FOREVER and they farm out prior authorization requests to a third party that no-one in the office can contact for updates. I have had testing that I'd like the results of but because of their stress testing prior authorization policies I will not be able to get those results until Mid-August at best (my tests were performed July 5). They don't want to make seperate appointments even though the tests don't impact each other and there is a large gap in when tests can be performed (results could impact my next steps, though). Keep in mind I'm only giving the highlights here. Honestly - if you go here - it's a game of roulette to expect consistently good treatment and they never do a good job with basic medical office functionality and processing. Also, they'll likely respond to this post with how they would like to resolve my issues and the office manager will call me personally soon. I'll update my review in the unlikely event that call ever comes and any rectifying actions are taken, however, I already asked to speak with the office manager and was directed to her voicemail because she was "in a meeting. " That was July 8th. Fourteen days seems excessively long for any remotely well organized office to leave a call un-returned. (Originally posted 07/22/23 the removed by me to give them a chance to get me off that fence).

Never answer phone. Doctor is good they tell me but o wouldn’t know. Refer you to several costly tests. My experience with TPMG has always been money first everything else last

UPDATE!

Below is the TPMG office response they did call I wanted to know why an Ultra Sound was going to cost me 750 out of pocket. They said they would look into it. That was 2 weeks ago. Meanwhile i still have no idea what’s wrong with me or no further test have been done.

I don’t recommend this office if you have cardiovascular problems that need immediate attention. It will take months to find out what’s wrong with your heart.

This has got to be one of the worst practices I have ever been to! The office staff, Ashley in particular, was extremely rude, abrasive and short.
There is NO clear line of communication. Staff gave me wrong information quite a few times.
Was called 20 minutes before my appt stating they needed to cancel.

This would be a 6 star review; however, my cardiologist left the group. My prescriptions ended. I called the office three times. I left a message with the nurse for refills for my important medicine. I have left a message every time and asked for a call back along with the fact that if you need an appointment I'll be happy to schedule when my new insurance plan started. I would have only needed a months refill for my heart medicine prescribed by the cardiologist within the group. I have never received a return phone call to recommend an appointment nor to deny a refill. Very unprofessional group.
