Bob Evans, Cross Lanes WV

Seems like all Bob Evans Rest.have gone downhill, food at best is mediocre, floors are always dirty, help is ok, not great
We do not go there much anymore, when they first opened they were outstanding. The country theme is gone, it looks like a restaurant that is about to file for bankruptcy.

Came in and waited almost an hour for our food, we were on lunch so we had to leave without ever receiving our food. Got our drinks and tried to flag the waitress down several times, and she never came back. Looked at me stupid for not wanting eggs with my meal. Won't make that mistake again when we're on a time crunch.

Service was as good as could be expected considering how short staffed they were. Paige was awesome as our server and the staff that was there should be applauded for the work they did.

People in the kitchen were loud and unprofessional!

The server was the only one they had the night my family went there. And she did a wonderful job. Sure she may have forgot a few things but hey she's only human. And she busted her but to fix things. And take care of all her other tables. She deserves a round of applause

I was there for breakfast with my girlfriend last Sunday morning. The lady serving us was very very rude. I don’t know who such supposed to be good place can hire such a rude person. But what was surprising more is that we told the cashier about her and she said that’s her normal. I don’t know is that a kind of racist behavior or that’s really their normal. But what I am sure of that I will never eat in such a place again.

We waited several minutes at the podium with no acknowledgement. A "hello, we'll seat you soon" would have been fine, but it was like we were invisible. In fact, the hostess ignored us and greeted the lady who had arrived after us. The manager was using the register, but also didn't seem to see us or feel the need to greet us. We were never seated and chose to leave.

Service was slow (despite it NOT being crowded), but server was friendly. My wife ordered the biscuits & gravy breakfast.gravy was congealed, biscuits were so hard that they couldn't be cut (we asked for replacements, they were just the same), and hash browns were limp and undercooked. She asked for extra bacon, didn't receive it (but was charged for it.we got it removed from the tab). I had the honey butter chicken - Chicken was WAY overcooked, my biscuits were as hard as my wife's. We ordered cinna-biscuits as an appetizer, they came when we were almost done with our meals. We've eaten at a lot of Bob Evans, never had an experience like this before, and hope we never do again.

The customer service was amazing friendly and did a great job but we were expecting it to be good and thefood could have been much better than it was overall disappointed on how bland everything tasted.

Ordered Thanksgiving Feast for 4. More like for 2. Kinda stingy with food this year. Food we got was good but looks like they were running out making cold pack boxes and started rationing.

Usually have great experiences at any of the locations. Food sat under the warmer while the waitress played on her phone. (Manager just stood there) Bacon was HARD, cold eggs and hashbrowns. 1st time ever with poor food and just "ok" service.
Could use improvement

Server was kind. Food was fine But I asked the server who closed last night? I Was the 1st customer of the day Sunday 10/23/22. I pointed out all the trash on the floor under tables and baseboards. We talked about how lazy the workforce is becoming and employees are hard to find. This is a managerial problem. Manager should inspect that store and if it's not clean you don't go home. Customers should not have to let you know that.

Staff was friendly however ordered biscuts and gravy with fried potatoes. Biscuits were cold wouldn't even melt butter and the potatoes were cold. The only thing warm was the gravy. Guess they figured the gravy would heat it up. And the biscuits were hard as a rock like they were leftover from the day before.

Food was great. Price very reasonable. Service was good. A slight wait for food but not too long. Lots of choices on the menu.

I ate a biscuit with gravy and the biscuit was hard and dry. The maple bacon was more maple than bacon. My partner had an omelet and gave it a three out of five. An average experience which was disappointing because there aren't any Bob Evans where I live. This one experience is what I'm left with.

If I could give no stars I would! Had a 15 minute wait, instead waited 25 minutes. (There were a lot of empty tables!) And sat for another 30 minutes and didn't even get waited on for drinks. Was on my lunch break and didn't even get to eat. I left!
Avoid this Bob Evans, worst service I've ever experienced. Such a shame this place went down hill!

Have enjoyable experience. Food was good. Waitor excellent. Wait for food was a little long.

Went to Bob's on Labor Day. Wait time was to be expected, only to find out that half the restaurant was actually empty and only had 2 servers. Returned 2 days later for breakfast because I wanted to give another chance. Only 1 server. Food was ok. Ordered the sunshine skillet and the gravy was so bad. Think as Mashed potatoes. When I scraped it off the top of my food it stuck to the spoon when it was turned over. So disappointed. Will never eat at another Bob Evans again.
