Planet Fitness, Fond du Lac WI

So Planet Fitness generously offers a free 15 month black card membership to people that work in Emergency Medical Services, and for almost all other Planet Fitness locations, they don't discriminate what service you work for, if you show your badge, you're in. Except for this location. The FDL Planet Fitness only offers this complimentary membership to one service, which ironically is the highest paid service in the county, which also has their own gym equipment at each of their stations which was provided at taxpayer expense. If you work for any of the other multiple ambulance and first responder services in the area, many of which are volunteer or paid below minimum wage, you just don't seem to matter as much. Hopefully they can fix this.

I enjoy working out here. Plenty of equipment, and room. But you gotta pay attention to the app and see when there not busy otherwise it does get crowded.

A clean place to workout. Everything I need to stay in shape including hydro beds tanning and showers.

Equipment? Generally Ok, 5hough there's 3 rowing machines and only 1 would be available (the other 2 carded off) and never a guarantee that one was working. Weights? Yep, got them.

Support? Um, no. I never could get a trainer to contact me to help design a plan. After membership wasn't paused after I asked and billing for some reason failed, it took 3 months before anyone said "hey, there's a problem" - it was just "you owe 3 months, pay it. " I had to hobble in on crutches to do that, because I couldn't do it over the phone.

For the cost? It's great, especially if you use all the black card amenities - but self-motivation and knowledge is purely on you. Service beyond that? Go in with zero expectations, be shocked if you get better.

Always clean, friendly staff and patrons. Even tho busy you can always get on what you want.

Always seems busy, which is nerve-wracking, but if you don't mind that it's a good gym

Reasonable priced, with a clean, friendly environment, with a variety of exercise equipment.

I'll never understand why in a place full of people wearing airpods, Planet Fitness feels it necessary to play their music so loud. The only people not wearing airpods are people over 60, and they hate the music PF plays. Please turn it down. I can hear your music as loud as I can hear mine.

So far this is the best planet fitness i seen yet, clean neat better workout equipment. They take care of things

I really enjoy working out here. The machines are well kept and the employees do a great job of keeping everything clean and helping guests when they need assistance.

Friendly staff to myself and guest to explore the many activities to do.
The massage bed is just the stimulation needed esp. In times when Lymph flow is essential to wellness. Work out & Massage. #Commitment

There’s only three smith machines, so if you don’t mind having to wait around 30 plus minutes for one the gyms not bad. But when there’s easily 30+ people in there your bound to always have to work around it or skip that part of your lift

Great place for beginners and intermediates to maintain a healthier body, and a healthier mind.
Lots of equipment so no waiting.
People are great about wiping down equipment after use.
No intimidation
No screaming squatters
Just respectful people

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The entire facility is always very clean and well-maintained. Everything is where it should be, and there are very rarely any machines under maintenance. I am just visiting for a month and needed a gym to join while here, but after coming to the Planet Fitness in Fond du Lac I think I am going to keep my Black Card membership when I go home to Los Angeles because I had that good of an experience!

Cody was excellent. He was greeting each and every person as they walked in and he made it a great experience. Excellent customer service.

Planet Fitness is a place I feel like I belong. I look forward to working out and checking in with the staff throughout my week. The staff is always friendly, kind, and helpful!

GREAT staff, always SUPER clean, the only reason it gets 4 and not 5 is because it's so small which makes it often crowded.
