10th Planet Scottsdale Jiu Jitsu

After 8 months of training at 10th Planet Scottsdale, it's time I leave a well deserved 5 star review. In the time that I've been training, I've fallen in love with jiu jitsu. Note I'm one of the 6 am regulars, and the people I've met and skills I've picked up have been awesome. There's some really skilled people here, and some people like me that are newbies. If you're looking to get started or to advance your skills further, I'd strongly recommend that you check this place out for the great vibes and solid training.

Awesome place. I’m brand new to the sport and could not have asked for a better place to train. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable and always willing to hep and teach. The environment is incredibly welcoming and everyone is super friendly.

Great all around atmosphere and Steeyle has an awesome approach to teaching (especially for newbies like me). Couldn’t recommend this place enough.

10th Planet Scottsdale is a special place. The community and culture Steeyle has built are both very welcoming at whatever level you are, and deep enough to have perpetual potential for challenges along the way. The people who train there are accommodating and the coaches are wise and witty alike. I highly recommend giving this place a shot.

Solid instructors, great prices, and lots of killers on the mats. Lots of Jiu Jitsu schools are stuck in the past with old school warm ups and odd rules that apply differently to different levels of persons, but not here. White belt or black, once you get on the mats it’s time to learn advanced techniques from day one and hit that ground running!

Great place to train. I was visiting from my hometown in Colorado, and it was a great experience. The mats and bathrooms were clean. Steele was a great instructor, and there were good people to roll with. Definitely coming back if i'm in the area.

I came from another gym as a purple belt and I was welcomed with open arms by the team. Steele is an amazing coach and a high level black belt and in the 6 months I’ve been there have drastically improved my game. Grateful for these guys!

I Started Jiu Jitsu at 10th Planet May 2022 with zero experience in jiu jitsu or any combat sport. The owner Steeyle creates a very inviting and supportive environment welcoming athletes of all levels. As for my self Steeyle welcomed me with open arms and was patient and willing to take his time with me. By far some of the nicest people to train with.

Former student and highly recommend. If I hadn’t move they’d still be my home gym. Whether you’re a new comer or seasoned veteran, you’ll find good rolls and great classes. They have a sauna, cold plunge and showers and the gym is kept immaculate

Just came in today, and it was a blessing. Family vibe. Coach is very straightforward and doesn't overcomplicate things. There are lots of strong guys to be challenged. Praise God for places like that

This gym has the best mat culture in the valley. Such an awesome place to learn and explore many varieties of styles with open mentorship from not only the head instructor Steele but from everyone else as well.

I love training here. High calibre, diverse classes with head instructor Steele and others, welcoming team with a wide range of training partners and styles. I left my home gym in Canada six weeks ago to travel and I have been training here for just over a month. Loving learning the unique 10th planet expression of jiujitsu with such a great crew.

I dropped in 3 times during a visit to Scottsdale and everyone was friendly and had some good rolls. Definitely recommend if in the area!

Stopped by 10th Planet Scottsdale while on vacation. I’ve been training 2 years and my wife just started recently. Great place to train. Amazing facility’s and the members were extremely welcoming to both myself and my wife. Will be back every time we are in Scottsdale. Thanks again!

My husband and I are in Scottsdale on vacation and wanted to train a couple times. I’m very new to jiujitsu and was nervous about going to a new gym, but everyone here was super welcoming and happy to go at any pace that made me comfortable. Super great energy from everyone and would love to go back again!

I was visiting AZ for a work trip and had a great time dropping into a class and getting a couple rolls in. Everyone was nice and welcoming!

I was in Scottsdale for a conference and wanted to catch a class as a drop in. I’ve never been to a 10th planet before so naturally I was a bit nervous. After showing up, I was greeted with open arms by both the instructor and the students. Everyone was so friendly and understanding that their methods were much different than what I’ve done in the past. They walked me through everything step by step and even gave me a few pointers along the way. Although I’m very happy in my current academy in NJ, I’m a little jealous that the locals have such a cool place to train.
