454 West Brown Apartments reviews
17As a new tenant I can say that I am very pleased. My family and our fur baby are loving our new place. From my inquiry, to my tour, and move in Jeanice has been wonderful. Very pleasant, efficient and professional. I feel at home!
We had a very short time to move from our previous home and the manager made sure the approval and move was as quick as possible and has always been super friendly to my family and myself. I have even seen her helping to clean up garbage that has blown out of the dumpsters. So far the place has been great and just what we needed.
Just moved in a few weeks ago. Enjoying it so far, clean property, friendly staff. Apt. Manager very accommodating to my move in needs.
This place is horrible from people blasting music 5 times or more a week to kids playing outside without a parent after 10 pm It’s sad to work all day and come home to this day in and day out. From calling the police and talking with management nothing changes.
The staff is amazing here, the apartments feel like home, and the noise level is super low which is hard to find in an apartment complex nowadays. I am glad my family finally found a great place to call home.
Me and my fiancé live our place! Angelica the new management here is the first property manager we’ve ever had to actually do her job. We had so many issues with our last place we didn’t think we would have luck with here but I’m happy we were able to get into this place so quickly with being in the middle of a move, there’s a few minor issues but nothing cleaning and being communicative with the office can help with. Only been here for about two weeks now.
Edit around 6 month
Angelica was very helpful in the move in process. Who ever was there before was giving me the run around didn’t know what was going on and when Angelica took over she got me into my apartment within the week. And the renovations are beautiful.
I am a second year resident with 454 West Apts. There have been major changes and improvements with the dwellings, grounds, and management all for the best. The current leasing manager is great with communication and resolutions. She is improving the complex on a daily basis. This is a great, clean, and small complex that prides itself on positive and prompt communication between staff and the tenants request.
Just wanted to pop on here and say what a great experience I had living here and the new management is doing a great job on making the complex feel like home. I will definitely miss this place I hope there’s another one like it in NewMexico!
I'm giving 5 stars solely for the new manager Angelica and all the hard work she's done trying to pick up the mess that was left for her. I've never met a manager that cares or listens to tenants and get things done quick. I've been here since last June and it's been a complete nightmare for me and my family. The last manager, Amanda did absolutely nothing. We complained to her and nothing was ever done. I complained to Angelica and the issues we were having was taken care of the very same day! I hope she sticks around because she is what tenants need and I think she can make this Apt great. You're an angel! I can't give 5 stars for the Apt because of what we dealt with but hopefully going forward people will enjoy this new and improved community.
Angelica is the best manager to possibly have! So caring and outgoing for all the residents. She constantly is going above and beyond and not to mention she be having food trucks here as well
Angelica is one of the greatest managers 454 west brown has seen. She is always helpful and very on top things. She has been making the property so clean and nice looking the community is on the up and up!
Really good apartments! The manager Angelica is really good person, Nice to know that they have good people running the complex! 10/10 recommend
Hey so the roaches are still an issue! DO NOT MOVE HERE! We have reached out to management about the cockroaches at minimum FOUR times now and are actively being ignored! These apartments are uninhabitable, and I am so sorry for all the children that live here and are being raised in these conditions. I am extremely disappointed in the mishandling of this situation. It would save you greedy folks some money in the long run if tenants WANTED to live here. But it's more than obvious to me that you guys could care less about what people want as long as you're getting those sweet little rent payments huh?
EDIT AFTER MOVING OUT: They never fixed the roaches, and now are trying to charge us for damaged paint and blinds that were in poor condition when we moved in; we did not create any additional damage living there. Can not express more clearly, this place is absolute garbage. Selfish and ignorant management through and through.
NEED UPDATED CONTACTS! Been trying to reach any management about rent but either no one response or someone who “manage the place no more” answer the call? !
Edit (months after move in) : Discovering that tons of roaches come in through the unfinished floor boards. Hot water only in my shower not fixed- a temp maintenance worker came by and put in the request for the part my shower needs but no update from management. No resolution on parking, little to no response from corporate management.
Don’t move in here! We don’t have room for you! Not enough parking for the amount of units. Haven’t even lived here a full month and already they’ve towed my car with no warning or notice about parking regulations. Undefined no parking zones.
Poorly managed and unfair practices.
This apartment is completely infested with roaches. We had to break our lease not even 24 hours after signing due to the infestation. They now are refusing to give the money we paid for a prorated rent back. They have to provide an inhabitable apartment and an active infestation is considered uninhabitable. Now I have to take legal action and will be reporting them to the health department and the housing department. Please don't waste your time here.
