83rd Ave and Lake Pleasant - Goodwill - Retail Store and Donation Center reviews
18They have a manager in this store by the name of Lucy who has no business in retail management. She has clearly missed the lesson that the customer is always right, and is very rude dealing with customers. I had bought a tool and later found the case in another area of the store and she refused to let me have the case which would be absolutely worthless to anyone that did not own the tool.
Very clean and organized. Staff was friendly and helpful. Checkout lines were long but moved very quickly. Great place to find what you didn't realize you needed
I've been in this Goodwill on numerous occasions. Today, there was a used syringe on the bathroom floor. There were no employees at the front of the store, but I finally did find someone to report it to.
Just left this location and im not sure myself or my family will ever come back. The stockers especially the woman are rude and full of themselves. One girl with glasses and acne all over her face walked right in front of myself and my 4 year old daughter as we were going through a rack with no excuse me then smirked at us after she knew how rude she was. Then I stood in line for 10 mins to check out and the cashier told me she was closed. Made me go to the next register then she proceeded to take the customers that were behind me after she just told me she was closed. Who ever is running this store needs to train their employees better or need to get new ones who actually enjoy their job and know what customer service is actually about.
The store is very clean, but the prices are very high. I've never seen a Goodwill with prices this high. They also had zero specials going on like the other Goodwill's usually do.
By far the best selection of like new, high end clothes of th 4-5 Phx-metro stores. They have the most to choose from. I saw very little, only a few pieces of clothes that wer crappy and ghetto looking. Lots of furniture, big rugs, a-very-lotta electronics! YES, GO THERE!
A little disappointed. My mom found a "pair" of pajamas and was going to buy them but when we got to the check out they had them priced individually. Pretty stupid.
I usually find what I am looking for - generally clothing items. But this store seems short staffed. Most times I need to find an associate to unlock the fitting rooms. All the associates are busy doing something else. They are busy working, but it takes a few minutes to get their attention so I can try on my possible purchases. There are Goodwill stores popping up everywhere. So it seems Goodwill has enough money to hire more people.
Total scumbags sell overpriced trash brown hair manager Girl hope u have a rotten life u deserve it!
One of my favorites. Just wish they would be more available on registers and viewing in jewelry cases.
Always fun at the Goodwill! PS they love if you donate your old newspapers. They use it to wrap glassware. Not many people get the paper anymore so it is in high demand. They will even give you a donation receipt!
My favourite Goodwill in the West Valley. I can always find what I'm looking for and the store is super clean (for a Goodwill) and organized #demographics are obvious
Used to love coming here and always found a treasure. Recently, however, they’ve raised prices dramatically on books and records, especially anything that looks even vaguely valuable, even if it’s just a trashed old book or a scratched to death Beatles record. Not that it matters much since good stuff rarely makes it to the floor anymore; either they’re selling it online or it’s in their glass case that no one is ever available to open for you. Frequently huge, slow moving lines at the checkou; often only one cashier for half a dozen customers with carts brimming over with merchandise. Finally, at other goodwills no one hassles you for peeking at the carts when they roll them out to put out new merchandise but here they’re nasty. There are plenty of good thrift stores in the vicinity with better selection, better prices, friendlier staff, and cleaner stores. Think I’m done with this one.
Associates are always so helpful and very nice. Good selection and turn over of merchandise too!
Love this Goodwill, go in at least once a week. Always find great bargains, alot of name brand items. Staff has always been friendly
My favorite Goodwill to visit and shop! The people here are very friendly and nice. There is one kind of item I consistently shop for (silk ties) and they usually have a good selection at wonderful prices! A little bit of a challenge to find the store if you don't live out here, but work finding it.
Store was very clean, tidy and well organized. I got there late on a Sunday and didn't have much time to shop. 6 o clock rolled around and I had 3 "arm-fulls" of stuff. They let me sort through it all and didn't rush me out 25 minutes early like every other location. Great goodwill shopping experience! Thanks!
Because of it's location I can usually find cool stuff! Unfortunately the people are not very friendly nor helpful. Not a place to go if you are expecting a smile and friendly help.
