Joe Klaas and his team of highly disciplined, professional technicians basically changed my transmission and any other shortcomings and now my car will be good for another 300,000 miles. Runs like a brand new car. A couple of other shops were reluctant to even tackle this job. A+

Joe and his entire crew were absolutely amazing! What started out as a completely awful situation with my truck at another establishment, turned into a positively pleasant experience here at AAMCO! Joe didn't treat me as if I was a naive, he really took the time to explain exactly what was wrong with my transmission. Joe also really took the time to help ensure that I was able to afford the work that was needing to be done with my truck. I would absolutely recommend anyone to take their vehicle here and ensure they will receive the best service both in and out of the shop! I will be returning here with my other vehicle for preventative maintenance will all my vehicles!

This team is fast, reliable and very accommodating. I was able to get in and get out in about an hour for just a general check up on my vehicle. Have a big trip planned and now I can rest easy knowing my vehicle is gonna get me through the trip. I’ve been helped in the past with power steering, and other vehicle troubles. This team hasn’t let me down and 5 stars is an understatement!

Great business theses guys do great work. Can runs like new. Everything with our transmission is intact and drives just like it did when we first bought the car. I would take it here again if any other problems occurred in the future.

Excellent service. I started being my vehicle to Steve when his shop was about 3 weeks old. They stand by their work. My most recent visit was a mystery situation. I left my SUV on a Sunday so Joe the office manager could get it assigned. They had it for three days while the mechanics tried to replicate my concern. They could not find anything wrong and unlike dealerships didn't charge me a penny to diagnose the problem. I could have been told it was anything and would have said Fix It. They didn't. They don't scam, they're busy working on real problems so they don't have to invent them.
I highly recommend this Aamco shop.

Ever heard the story of the person whose transmission went a few months and 90 miles out of the repair warranty. Well I just lived it, but in stead of paying for another rebuild not only did Peoria aamco on Rio Vista cover the cost of the repair, but had my work truck back up and running the next day! I'm happy to say I'll take my vehicles no where else; they've earned a customer for life. Thank you!

Been coming to these guys for years. Joe is the best in the business and you won’t find anyone that knows more about cars than him. I’ve had my truck in there for just about everything. Full trans rebuild, rear main seal, knock sensors. And every time I know the works gonna get done right and fast. I recommend anyone go to these guys with your vehicle problems no matter how big or small

I received a prompt diagnosis and on approval, my transmission was rebuilt quickly. My truck drives like new again. I would absolutely recommend this location for service.
