Adrian Fontes, Maricopa County Recorder reviews
23It is so encouraging to hear that Mr. Fontes has a plan in place for the upcoming election. Anyone who wants a mail in ballot or wants to vote in person can do so safely and easily even during a pandemic. The plan is viable and fair, encouraging for anyone and everyone to participate in our constitutional right to vote.
Maricopa county is the 4th most largest county in the US by population.
I really appreciate we have permanent early voting by mail.
I come home to a nice apartment and it has lot's places to sit and relax with plenty of furniture and technology I try to keep myself and my visitors very well entertained and also I have very well amount of food and also I light up the day.
We needed to fix a problem with mailed ballots and received good advice & customer service. I see an upswing with this office bringing the election process up to 2020 standards.
Fire him the mid terms were a joke he handled it poorly get some one in there who is not a slacker
Adrian Fontes is far superior to his predecessor, and has turned the County Recorder office to a source of frustration due to last minute poll location closings to one that embraces the mission of trying to allow as many people to vote as possible. Our democracy is stronger when more can participate.:)
I am so unhappy with the way the ballot counting is going, very slow. Then I don't know if my mail in ballot got counted. Also are we sure it is being done correctly or allowing votes to be counted twice both mail in and walk in? Seems like we have given you Adrian enough of a time to get thing right maybe time for you to leave. If you can't do better than this, out of 50 states we are the last to get ballots counted. Not a happy voter.
How much longer do the LEGAL taxpaying citizens of Arizona have to endure Fontes? 2020 re-election I am hopeful we can get the integrity of our vote back.
Why the hell is it taking so long to count the ballots? Something is going on. Seriously this is the worst. Hopefully the President looks into this mess
I was just hung up on by some woman because you keep getting my address wrong. Who hangs up on a caller!?
The changes the new recorder made to deal with the increased voter numbers is being judged on wrong perspective! Look what was done before vs now. He is doing a great job! He has received national recognition for his innovative and creative changes made in Maricopa County AZ
Much better than former elections. Could find all the information needed for voting easily in his website, while it was really convoluted at the Sec State’s office. He is doing his job very conscientiously.
I was very impressed at the way Adrian Fontes handled the interview on KTAR yesterday with Steve Ghettos. Thank you for putting "doing it right" rather than "doing it quickly. " I especially liked the comment "This isn't Burger King. You can't have it your way"
Seriously? This is your job! Why are you blaming others for incompetence. Get your act together before November.
Love the option to sign up for a text and get notified when my ballot is received then counted! Well done Adrian Fontes.
Just needed to record more quit claims today. Guess it has to be 10pt font now and the notary stamp is too light for their scanner. I can't believe with today's technology I'm having to do everything all over again tomorrow because of small print and light ink.
Two years in a row that this office didn't send ballots to the address we updated on the Secretary of State's site. Last time I looked, Maricopa County was part of the state of Arizona.
We're going to physically get ballots to vote this poor Recorder out of office.
Yes, our son was unable to vote in Fountain Hills' election. We're sending you, addressed to you, proof that he updated his voter registration last year & your office ignored the state's records.
Shaking in my boots, I went to the Surprise library to record 2 Warranty Deeds & 2 Beneficiary Deeds at the kiosk there. A real life person, whom I could hear but not see, on the other side of the screen kindly walked me clearly & concisely thru the process. She also reviewed the documents & I received their filing verification before signing out. That kind of service is too rare in this day & age, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! Furthermore, it cost me 1/3 less than if I had mailed them in & waited weeks to get them back in the mail. Amazing:)
Terrible voting systems here in Maricopa county. I have had to fill out a provisional ballot the last few years becasue their "system" does not have my correct address and the workers at the polling places are not that informed. This office has also been under scrutiny for not counting provisional ballots so beware if you have to fill out a provisional ballot there is a chance you the recorder's office won't count your vote!
