This shop and the men that work in this shop are great they do the job correct I had work done to my bike at another shop which never did the work rite I then was referred to this shop and they had my bike apart in a timely manner and had three different quotes for what I wanted to do to my bike they keep you very informed and updated overrall I’m happy with the work and the prices they didn’t get over like other shops do I would recommend them to anyone 100 % Advance Performance shop is great hands down

These guys are awesome! If I have an issue they can figure it out. I have taken my bike to them twice, they have a customer for life now. They are honest.

Had some work done on a 94 KX 125, was quoted a price over the phone, took it there, they did the work on the spot, and charged me half of what the quote was, as the situation was not as bad as I described it, They could have charged me what they quoted me, but they did not, much respect! These guys were very professional, Jeff and Steve, thank you again, I appreciate it, and will be back with the KTM

Guys are awesome service is great and prices were better than anywhere I have been in phoenix.canr beat good service and great prices. Very knowledgeable on motor sports and bikes of all kinds would definitely recommend to anyone if you need service done.

Steve and Jeff are true professionals. I took in my 2002 Suzuki Intruder 1400 with clutch issues, busted forkseals, brake issues, and tire issues that Ridenow tried to overquote me on. They took care of the necesites and DIDN'T have a sales pitch loaded up to keep my bike longer than needed. They got Straight to the point of what was absolutely necessary for my bike. Jeff even took the time to show me which parts were bad on my bike after he and Steve completed the work. Their pricing is absolutely reasonable and they do not waste your time. They even went above and beyond and did a few extra things for me like adjusting my highway pegs and cleaning up some of the splashed hydraulic fluid on my bike. Their knowledge, experience, professionalism, and respect towards their client's bikes definitely shows. It's for those reasons that I ride almost two hours just to take my bike to them. I have a few more things that need fixing that the shop before them did not take the time to address; so I'm looking forward to getting it done right this time. I highly recommend taking your powersport vehicles to them. They do more than just bikes and won't squeeze your wallet like a dealership would. Definitely outstanding integrity shown from this company.

Jeff tried to keep my $1200 deposit. So I took legal action against him.
I won and Jeff had to refund my $1200.
I gave AP a deposit to get in line to have some work done on my Harley.
ORIGINALLY HE WANTED MY BIKE AS COLLATERAL!
I refused to leave my 2017 Ultra Limited for them to shuffle in and out of their shop with their small, inexpensive dirt bikes and quads already dinged, dented, and scratched.
Later, he said I was 8-weeks out so I decided to take my business elsewhere.
Jeff tried to keep my deposit saying it was for parts he special ordered and there is no refund after 30-days. I asked for my deposit to be refunded on day #31.
I have been unable to find any other bike shop in the valley that requires leaving a monetary deposit… MUCH LESS leaving one’s personal property as collateral prior to doing business with them.
I was not informed in advance in any way my $1200 was for parts ordered nor was I made aware of the “no refund” policy. Jeff told me verbally it was merely to secure a spot in their maintenance queue.
Terms of sale do not appear on the invoice, there is nothing on the AP web page, on Face Book… nowhere. Nor does the invoice say anything about a restocking fee.
2015 Arizona Revised Statutes Title 44 - Trade and Commerce § 44-1377 Disclosure of Restocking Fee; dictates this info shall be clearly written on an invoice if such a rule exists.
In fact, I only learned of a refund policy when Jeff mentioned it in a text to me weeks after our legal action against him began.
Customers must be informed of the rules in advance and in writing. No business can make up the rules as they go.
Since I used a Wells Fargo debit card to pay the deposit, I turned Advanced Performance in to my bank on a charge of fraudulent and deceptive practices.
I also filed a similar complaint with the Arizona Attorney General.
While Wells Fargo immediately refunded my account with $1200 it was provisional and based on the outcome of its investigation.
After around 90-days Wells Fargo decided Advanced Performance had in fact not proven they were justified in keeping my $1200 and the refund to my account became permanent.
I won.
I am certain the AZAG would have also decided against them as well due to Jeff’s brash and childish notion he can make up the rules as he goes.

Addendum:
As I said, my case against Jeff was for fraudulent and deceptive practices.
Thank you Jeff for proving my point for me.
Jeff's excuse is laughable and ridiculous.
Whether Jeff swiped or read the chip on my debit card, the debit was a legal transaction because it was removed from my account on 04/01/2019 and it reflects the transaction occurred on 03/30/2019 as it says in the photo below.
Had he debited my card incorrectly it would never have come out of my account. That’s simply common knowledge to adults.
On 05/08/2019 it was put back into my account as a “Provisional Credit” which means until the investigation is complete.
It was never again removed from my account because Wells Fargo found Jeff guilty of Fraudulent and Deceptive practices and allowed the “provisional” credit to become permanent.
These are simply the facts of the case against him as determined by Wells Fargo Bank.
When counting the days, one will discover from 03/30 – 05/08 is but 39-days.
Jeff says I came back to his shop on Day # 40 for a refund.
The more reasonable explanation, I was in his shop on Day 31 and it took 8-days for Wells Fargo to process my claim and refund my money… provisionally.
The photos below do not lie.
In July Jeff sent me a text saying, not one but TWO attorneys told him he had every right to keep my money and he would be coming after me with a Summons to Appear in Small Claims Court, “any day now”.
It's now December.nothing yet.
More proof of Jeff's casual relationship with the truth.which is exactly why WF gave my money back to me.
It had nothing to do with the method Jeff used to debit my card.
PLEASE read my other reviews! We travel a LOT and you can discover GREAT places to do business with… and not so great.like Advanced Performance.

I had had my bike picked up by Advanced Performance in late April early May of 2019. The bike was not running and I had no history of the bike and why is was not running. I hired them to get the bike running. They waited until December to run a scope through the engine to determine if there were any pistons in the engine. Throughout the process I was re-promised when the bike would be done and the bike was not done come December of 2019. It took EIGHT MONTHS to get approximately 20 HOURS of work done, and them to tell me the last month there are no pistons. I picked up the bike even though it was not running so I can take it to a shop that can get the job done. I would expect that if my bike was thoroughly examined to determine any problems with the bike they would have done a physical inspection of the engine when they first started the process. I was referred to this company from a friend who has had great experiences although mine was less than bad. Had I known they could not deliver on my reasonable expectations or a reasonable timeline I would have not taken my bike to them. I hope that they can improve their service and provide better service to their existing and future customers.

Extremely knowledgeable, they knew exactly what the issue was with my motorcycle, and the price was about $150 cheaper then a few other shops I called to compare price and they even were able to help me with my 1987 TRX250X
They were very honest and transparent with my options and the cost of each option. Thank you Steve and Jeff

Top notch shop! I had Jeff and Steve look over my recently purchased bike. They were very thorough with the inspection, very friendly, and gave me a great price for work. They even took the time to answer all the extra questions I had since I haven’t been riding for long time. I’ll be back for all my bikes needs.

I'm always nervous about who works on my motorcycle. Jeff and the gang got the thing running and tuned to exactly where I want it. I was probably overly concerned about the suspension but they took the time to cater to my eccentricities and now she runs like a dream. No one else is going to work on my bike.

Highly Recommend! Jeff and Steve are very knowledgeable. I have been taking my Softail here for a couple years now for servicing, performance upgrades, and tire changes and will continue to do so. Excellent workmanship and confidence you can trust.
